“Club for Growth?”
What sort of growth do we get if no one has healthcare and everyone is dead?
Just asking questions.
If you’re not in their “club” you’re not “people” – which means your death isn’t of any consequence (to them).
The funeral industry?
They are growth in the sense of something your doctor advises you to have removed, a procedure covered under Obamacare and likely not under the GOP bill.
Save us from the lobbyists! And that goes for both sides. I’m tired of these guys.
Update to the story: The Club for Growth has be renamed "Death Panels ‘R’ Us."
Club for Growth vs. AARP for a bill with 17% (or less) public approval. Ooh, that’s a toughie!
“Growth” as in “tumor” or “cancer”…
The good news, Republicans, is the Party apparatus can make you think that paying exorbitant premiums for no coverage is exactly what you want.
Correct name would be “Club for Graft”.
THAT would be truth-in-advertising!
LOVE it when the wingers eat their young.
Who’s got popcorn?
They say Trumps the Titanic but its looking more like he was the over promising iceberg thats going to sink the GOP. Not that there’s anything wrong with it.
Or rather, it would be consequential if there were some way to profit from your death. Like, for example, if they could go back to selling “health insurance” policies that let them collect your money but then not cover much of anything if it turns out that you actually need health care. Pesky ACA regulations put a crimp in that business model, which is why they’d love to “fix” it.
Well … what did you expect when you invited Ferengi aboard?
Yet ALL the republicans are A Ok with the huge tax cut to everyone making more than 250k and gutting future medicare spending…
Not to mention the lobbying insurance providers will be actively doing at the state level to persuade state lawmakers to oust any remaining ACA safeguards…
I’ve previously compared this administration to the Ferengi here, and was taken to task for it. I’ll just quote the reply from last time:
A valid point. These guys are more like Pakleds.
Anticipate a flurry of health card articles inching through the week. Possibly another 10 before Friday? Maybe 15? Anyone taking numbers?
Good grief! That’s my congressman and his shoe is untied in the picture.
Club for Growth is an ironic name for an organization that supports policies that do little or nothing to grow the economy.
