And while we’re at it, a stake through the heart.

Make them use 16d vinyl-coated sinkers. Those suckers are a cast-iron b*tch to pull. A 24 oz framing hammer is the right tool for driving those beasties. I have one I’ll loan them.

I have a better idea. Medicare for everyone and legislate the insurance company out of existence.

No mention from the insurance execs of that provision that amounts to a $400 million personal gift…enabling the companies to pay their executives far more than they can now. Public outcry had forced the limits when people struggling to afford coverage saw those execs reaping massive salaries and bonuses. Under Trump, good times would resume, once again begging the question for the very wealthy…“How much is enough?”

Yeah, that provision was a bone to the INSCO execs in the hope of getting them on board here. Sounds like it didn’t work, at least publicly.

The accepted practice is to hold hearings with testimony from interest groups BEFORE legislation is finalized. What the hell are these clowns doing?

This really is fascinating. The insurers are the one group I’d expect the GOP to be pandering to behind the scenes. Could it be:

  • Ryan is so obsessively focused on top tier tax cuts that nothing else is on his radar?
  • The House GOP is so inept that it can’t even remember how legislating is done? Even to pleasing your own constituency?
  • They feel so under the gun to get this out that there is no time to actually receive input from all concerned (even their perceived allies)?

This all feels remarkably ad hoc.

Americans don’t won’t Obamacare replaced. They want it improved. Why don’t republicans get it. Are they deaf???

Republicans aren’t deaf but dumb to anything that doesn’t put more money into the 1%ers, which in turn they’ll write bigly checks to those Republican campaign coffers.

What if i told you that this bill’s best spokesman isn’t the president nor the speaker, but someone like Walden?

If this bill gets passed, it will be on account of a pivotal # of Democrats saving Ryan, Walden and Trump’s ass from an obvious (?) defeat, right?

Then there is the Senate’s turn, then Trump’s and everyone knows that Trump is going to/has to burn some capital in this process.

Seriously, please gimme two outcomes to this bill, one has to be based in fantasy and one in reality…

I have a fantasy and realistic outcome to how all of this will end, but I’m not certain about either.

Do you believe when Republicans say “The American People ™” they mean the actual American people? They don’t. They don’t give a damn what the actual American people want.

Coming soon

“called for more generous tax credits for consumers to use on the individual market …”

That is such a blatant call for corporate welfare, it should make every honest Republican sick to their stomach.

Fortunately, there’s no such thing as an honest Republican, so no one gets sick and needs health insurance!
