Mitch McConnell can only talk for money. For an extra $20 he’ll spin a plate on his nose before speeding away surrounded by goons…

Two nanoseconds is more than enough time to realize a ā€˜controlled’ event will backfire.

These pols are both gutless AND stupid.

wrong year I think, right drummer though

Oh, it’s worse than that. Portman, the Cowardly Lion here in Ohio, has his people vetting people attending his closed events. Anyone on the ticketed list who voted in the Democratic Primary last year is disinvited. If there was a fee involved, their money is refunded.

Being Sen Cruz will not organize a town hall there has been one organized for him at UNT Dallas Friday at 6pm. He has been invited, he won’t show I am sure, but it should be fun

Yeah I saw that on kos. There’s a march on the 11th in front of the Omni Hotel where there’s some GOP goings on that include Uday or Qusay I believe. That sounds like fun too.

Most people in the United States don’t know all that much about our Constitution. On the other hand, there are some core values about which there should not be much disagreement.

If you ask 100 people what the Constitution means to them, very few are going to say " the Supremacy clause" or " Admiralty." Many of them will say " freedom of speech." When they say that, they frequently mean not just the freedom to speak but also the other freedoms protected by our magnificent First Amendment-- press, association, peaceable assembly, right of petition and others.

We apparently , at least for now, have lost this year-universal appreciation of these rights and a new determination to deprive others, based on content, of those rights of free political expression.

A great tragedy . The resistance to Trump , by political action, affirm their commitment to the First Amendment. This is one battle we cannot afford to lose.
