Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy … came to Carson City Tuesday with scores of allies to rally behind a bill seeking to reclaim land from the federal government.
Sounds like the perfect opportunity to arrest him and any of his “allies” who were involved in his crime of using the threat of deadly force to interfere with Federal officials in the course of their duties. So why the fuck wasn’t he?
Bundy’s son, Ammon Bundy, added, “We can lose a thousand federal court cases, but the fact remains the same, the land belongs to the people.”
You’re right it does belong to the people, hence why the people’s representatives in the Federal government are charged with managing it and collecting fee’s on its use from scofflaws like your father.

“reclaim?” Doesn’t that require previous ownership … and no, squatting on federal land does not equal ownership.
Not sure how you write about this idiot flood of bills from ALEC and the Kock Brothers, who are the ones writing and bankrolling them, without mentioning the fact. “Larger movement” is one way to put it, I suppose.
