True Dat. Unless, of course, you are a Mets fan.
Spot-On, Hillary!
You’re my DH, Hillary! Keep on swinging – you make contact damned near every time!

My thought exactly.
“The debate was a swing and a miss,” Clinton said…”
…as did many Mets.
And cue the right-wing whining about how she’s not taking issues seriously. Some of these fuckwits actually complained because the Hillary camp last night Tweeted out the gif of her brushing some lint off her shoulder during the Benghazi!!!1! hearings.
Jesus are these people annoying.
Actually, nothing’s better for the Democratic party candidates than the Republican debates. I mean, honestly, can you see any of them as President?
Don’t know who it is but Hillary has found herself a writer. This last month has been one gem after another.
She, and/or her writers, seems to have picked up on the fact that the best way to deal with the G.O.P. field is to make fun of them. As long as it doesn’t veer off into “mean,” I think it’s going to be a very effective tactic.
I readily admit that I was very anti-Hillary after the 2008 election. We saw a very petty and vicious side to her. I was on the Obama bandwagon since his DNC speech in 2004, and I was sour on Hillary for going after him the way she did. Well, she’s back in my good graces, now. It’s clear she learned her lessons from 2008, and is much more comfortable this time around. She’s coming off as the adult in the room who is battle tested, calm and cool under pressure, and, well…likable. This is a good look for her.
makes mitt romney look good!
So do most dead fish. Barely.
No. But, I believe we look through our blue colored lenses, when it comes to elect-ability. There is almost half of this country that, mind numbingly, see one of them as POTUS. Those are the people we need to worry about. And, the percentage of non-voting, complacent Democrats, I believe, is much higher than their Republican counterparts. That’s a bad job. We need a concerted get out to vote effort again. Even get P-Diddy…or whatever he calls himself, currently, to bring back Vote or Die…anything!
I’m not sure which is worse…telling Democrats that the cause is lost or that it’s a shoo-in.
In the latter case it’s back to the Diversions (“MY vote isn’t needed…we got it COVERED!!!”) in the former case, it’s (“We shoulda coulda woulda…**ck it…why bother!!”)
I saw a re-enactment of Torpedo Eight…the planes who flew into the Japanese carriers in 1942, KNOWING that they were toast, but trying anyway. Most of them the same age as the present-day cohorts the Democrats DESPERATELY need to show up and vote. I KNOW that, inside, the 1942 Americans are made of the same stuff as those of today.
Those of today are simply presented with more diversions.
The strength of the geezers and racists who vote Republican is this:
The diversion for them IS politics.
I was and am in the same place. And my enthusiasm for her has gone way up thanks to the way she has stood up for the Obama record. That loyalty isn’t just good for Obama, but reflects really well on her too.
I did watch the World Series and I must tell you I am happy I did.
With agreement and respect… Torpedo Six
Oh snap!
I’m loving her!
I binge watched “how to get away with murder” on Netflix!
So much better then watching a room full of sanctimonious, whiny ass-holes.
Hell no!
One is more crazy, then the next! And all look to be pissed off entitled little brats!
