His defense about this is that as a business man it was cheaper to do it overseas and who cares if it hurts Americans as long as it helps his pockets… It’s not a good defense.

This, the Olympics’ ads, a website, a stump-speech line–Clinton is going all-in on this topic. It must have lit up the focus groups.

Can’t we just outsource Drumpf back to Russia?
I’ll chip in for the freighter passage.

Wouldn’t any business that off-shores its manufacturing say the same thing? How can Trump condemn them for doing what he does? (rhetorical question)

Mr. Kidder thank you!

I live in Arizona and am looking forward to purchasing a shirt from New England Shirt Company.

Trump: I want cheap labor and high margins in my business. I dont want to pay health, disability and other benefits either. Too many regulations in this country. I would always go abroad to save some money, which I may bring to America (or Russia).

They’re apparently a big time company. Their website says they made the Olympic 2016 closing ceremony uniforms for the USA. And they’re a union shop. And I’m assuming they make money. Hmmm, how can that be?

Trump won’t take this shirt lying down.

But that is exactly what he does. Look at his comments about Carrier, Nabisco, Ford, etc.

Except his entire economic plan is to strongarm businesses into forcing their manufacturing back into the USA.

I dunno. With all there is to go after Trump on, these ads just don’t really do it for me. They’re not visceral enough, and this guy’s dialogue sounds way too scripted. I think they should interview people who’ve been stiffed by Trump’s refusal to pay, backed up by his threats to unleash his army of lawyers. That’s the kind of guy he is, and that should be exposed.

The ads need to be much more brutal than this. Whatever it takes, he must be kept out of the White House. They always say this is the most important election ever. Well, this time it really is.

It’s off-shoring, not outsourcing. I worked for a company that made memory storage devices, and we “outsourced” our boards to a shop in San Jose, CA. Because we didn’t stuff boards.

Powerful Ad. Hope it resonates in those swing states where the textile industries have been decimated by off-shoring.

BANG!

Let’s see HRC’s campaign unleash a steady barrage of hard punches. Trump is such an easy target to hit. We have plenty of money. This is the kind of thing that will really help run the table–direct testimonials from regular people who can impeach every phony aspect of Trump’s BS resume.

This will definitely play in NC.

She should run this in S. Carolina and Georgia as well. Textiles used to be a major industry in those States…in the last couple of decades outsourcing to China using more non-woven materials has really affected companies here that used to run the large textile mills, but they are slowly coming back with incentives and a stronger desire by Americans to have their products “Made in America”. Those factories are becoming more automated as is most manufacturing but they still can provide a better than average wage in some states. Let’s just make sure these folks can legally unionize without interference by the state or the company to keep fair wages on pace with the cost of living.
