Discussion for article #243974
If this is true, Hillary is doing a masterful job at setting up Trump. Trump can’t help himself, if he hasn’t already, he’ll tweet something stupid claiming this if false and then a couple days from now the video/proof will come out. That said, it will be up to the media to make sure Trump doesn’t brush it aside as he does every other stupid statement or lie he tells, but if this is true, well done Hillary.
I am so glad she called out Trump for his role as the new de facto recruiter-in-chief for ISIS. It’s an extremely important point.
She went to that twice. Hillary doesn’t do that if its not something she has prepped, which I am going to take that its probably definitely true.
The media is still fawning over the GOP…more of a horse race. So Trump will brush it aside and just make some other outlandish comment that the MSM will chase.
LOOK! A SQUIRREL!!
While making a big (and true) statement like that on national television
SHOULD make millions of people do a little soul searching about how
encouraging Trump’s wild rhetoric could actually get Americans killed…
it won’t. The kind of people saying “Me like Trump!” aren’t looking to
think any of this through.
She showed why Trump is dangerous.
Trump will say anything, meaning he has no values. He thinks other people see that, and don’t care, just like he doesn’t care.
The problem is these right-wing fanatics do care. They have purpose, right or wrong, good or bad. Trump’s lack of it puts the country at great risk.
That’s just Trump’s hair ; )
I wonder if Trump has ever really considered the word, Jihad?
Because he just might want to start thinking about who he’s pissing off and insulting. He does consider them murderous right?
Hillary is yanking Donnie’s very yankable chain and if he keeps this up he’ll get smacked down again at the next correspondent’s dinner.
Agreed. Though her going there won’t put a dent in his numbers, it will serve to strengthen her own. The more worked up Democrats and left-leaners are about this very serious subject, the more we’ll push our loved ones who seem on the fence to consider this subject very seriously.
Actually, this post was meant for @NoParty, but works here as well.
What makes Trump different from everyone else running on the Dem side is the fact that he has always only done things that are good for…Donald Trump. That’s the sole context from which he’s made every decision for the last 40+ years. He doesn’t have any experience in governing, which requires one to make decisions based on how they affect a large group of people. And since he is a bonafide narcissist, he’s just not wired to care about anyone else besides himself.
The real truth about trump.
Donald J. Trump took a moment to separate himself from his rivals by declaring that he had gone on the record with his opposition of the Iraq war some 11 years ago — in July 2004.
The claim, however, left out the reality that his opposition came well after the war was already underway. The war began in March 2003.
It was that next year that Mr. Trump spoke against the war, in interviews with Esquire and Larry King.
“I do not believe that we made the right decision going into Iraq, but, you know, hopefully, we’ll be getting out,” Trump said on “Larry King Live” in November 2004.
Still, the antiwar sentiment did not stop Mr. Trump from supporting George W. Bush during his 2004 re-election.
Most of the yahoos Trump appeals to will not consider that a problem, and some may even consider that to be a positive.
Love, like or hate her, she is amazingly qualified for the office of Potus. She has been gaining lots of points in my book. And might I add, I like her
Yep, Hillary looks to me like a real winner.
Sanders may appeal on an emotional/ideological level because what he says is well trod territory. No new big ideas there, no surprises. At the same time, Hillary has clearly thought through a lengthy agenda showing what she would accomplish as President, and all of them are rooted in practical possibility.
I like her more now than I ever did before.
Sorry about WW3 folks, but I don’t second guess. I’d do the same thing all over again!
