Discussion: Clinton To Trump: 'Don't Just Fly That Big Jet In,' Get Out And Talk To Americans

She should have said, “You know what they say about short fingered men who feel compelled to buy big planes.”

Not yet.

But I think it’s probably coming from a surrogate. I can’t wait…

A great challenge! But you know that Donnie knows evvvvvverrrrryyyyything, so I doubt that he will accept it. After all, his companies hire thousands of “regular people” and he knows “the blacks,” and “the hispanics,” well because of that, though he never says that he has actually met any of “them.”

Thank you Hillary. It will be interesting to hear Donnie’s response, if any.

“Don’t just fly that big jet in and land it, go make a big speech and insult everybody you can think of and then go back, get on that big jet, and go back to you know your country club house in Florida or your penthouse in New York,” Clinton said.

Phallic framing.

I like it, but it’s tough to make this argument when he’s clearly tapped straight into the racist, bigot, homophobe, Islamaphobe, xenophobe, white supremacist gooey center of the Teatroll base like he’s reading their thoughts instead of cue cards and a teleprompter.

"I have said, ‘Come out of those towers named for yourself and actually talk and listen to people.’

Is she asking tRump to LISTEN?

tRump did not become the buffoon that he is by listening…

That’s like asking a snake to run a ten second one hundred meters.

“I’m flying ALL my big stuff in, which is bigger than yours, by the way but I’m a nice person so I’m not going to say that. But I should.”

Completely off topic, but did anyone else see the cover of yesterday’s NYT Magazine? The article was called “How Hillary became a Hawk”, but I swear the little plastic statue they used was modeled on Kim Jong Il. Short tunic, hand in a benedictory / superiority wave. Another shot in the NYT’s Hillary War?

Also, don’t wear that dead squirrel stapled to your head and try to make people think it’s hair.

[Clinton suggested that campaigning style made Trump out of tune with the country’s problems.

“Don’t just fly that big jet in and land it, go make a big speech and insult everybody you can think of and then go back, get on that big jet, and go back to you know your country club house in Florida or your penthouse in New York,” Clinton said. “I somehow don’t think that kind of puts you in touch with what’s going on.”]

Tough, smart lady. Reminds me of one of my history professors who said (not to me :innocent:),

“Open up that book and READ! It’s not going to get up and sit on your lap!”

In Trump’s case, however, he has people who do his living for him.

Seriously, a GREAT statement by the soon-to-be Prex.

Remember Dustin Hoffman’s line in “Outbreak”. He said, “they want their weapon”

In Trump, they want their creep…and they got him. To act any more civil or grown-up would cost him whatever he calls his “campaign”

But…but…how DARE she be so personal and vulgar in her criticisms. No one ever, in the history of politics, ever criticized someone as badly as this.

Clever. Yes, she has made a lot of money, but nothing like Trump. This will play well in the general election.

He is a lazy candidate and will be a lazy President. Doesn’t put in the work that has to be done and won’t do when Pres either.
