You go girl!
Twisting ideasâŚSadly, there is going to be a lot of that from Republicans on the panel today.
Look at this picture. I have very little reason to have any respect for this Congressman for very many reasons, so maybe this additional one is petty. Doesnât he own a suit? How disrespectful. This us the GOP that shudders that the President may take his suit jacket off while in the Oval Office when cameras are off.
What a bunch of amateurs ⌠and Iâm not talking about anyone other than the Republicans on the committee. Iâm waiting for Hillary to turn the tables on them and ask them what they would have her do ⌠crickets. Itâs real easy to be a Monday Morning Quarterback ⌠but it does help to have at least once played the game.
At what point will someone point out to the GOP and their voters that they have tried and tried and tried to be assholes to Obama and Hillary and time and time again they have failed to change opinion in their favor. The talk radio mentality of the GOP voter and now their representatives in Congress is that if they could just be even BIGGER dicks to PBO and HRC then the whole world will see the current and the future president the same way as they do. Yet, in practice, you get this. Delish.
Looks like he works part-time at the Capitol Hill Body ShopâŚ
Who the hell is running the Republican party? From not kicking Trump to the side as soon as âmurderers and rapistsâ to thinking an eighth Benghazi investigation is a good idea if there is absolutely NOTHING NEW to add to it.
Looking at the picture, itâs clear to see that Hilary is using her Jedi powers to make these members of Congress ask her dumb questions.
They are a joke, an impediment to progress. If the parties were married there would be a court-ordered separationâŚ
You see, this is the same âconservativeâ mode of magical thinking that seems to be in their DNA. From the Team B clownâs like Wolfowitz who looked at Soviet Cold War capabilities, and when they didnât find spectacular new capabilities they conjured up in their own minds, that was proof at just how devious the Soviets were and that because there was zero evidence, that was evidence of how important this imagined capability must be.
Same with Condi Rice and her being wrong about the Soviet threat capabilities (which after the Soviet collapse proved to be fundamentally wrong) and that was what her doctorate was on.
I bring up those two as simply other examples of what we are seeing again here. They âknowâ in their minds Clinton must have fucked up somehow. And was somehow culpable for the deaths of Stevens and the 3 others because of her deviousness and goals, which they have confabulated out of whole cloth in their heads because of the partisan loathing of who they see as their political enemy and threat to their desperate hold on power in D.C.
They are truly low.
âClinton To GOP: Iâm Sorry My Facts Donât Fit Your Narrative.â
Facts not fitting narratives is the very foundation of todayâs GOP.
Benghazi Chairman: âWe have to protect our phony baloney jobs here, gentlemen! We must do something about this immediately! Immediately! Immediately! Harrumph! Harrumph! Harrumph!â
(âI didnât get a âharrumphâ out of that guy!â)
But they did add a stack of papers⌠so there is that. (sigh)
Jim! Jordan! De facto leader of the âFreedom Caucusâ, whose mission is to build a bridge to the 1890s by casting Americans back into life before the New Deal, when old people routinely died in extreme poverty and industry was allowed to exploit workers and pollute the environment unfettered by government oversight and regulation.
What better way to ensure total adherence to the Freedom Caucus agenda than to hobble the Democratsâ top candidate along with the functioning of Congress.
Basically Charles Kochâs 1980 Galtian presidential platform.
Heâs in the Freedom Caucus and he has the Paul Ryan thing to worry about. Not fair to expect him to be on top of the Benghazi issue as well or to know any facts for that matter. Not being able to view the hearings, I hope Secretary Clinton spoke slowly and used a lot of pictures.
Sort of like the Bush method of trying to get the intelligence and facts to be fixed around the policy in order to justify invading Iraq, no?
