OK, this is going to sound straight-up stupid, but until I read Joshâs take, I didnât think of this as a wave of political assassination attempts. Is this just me being beyond the capacity for shock, or did I just dismiss it as some crankoff who had access to odds and ends he could stuff in an envelope? Donât ask me, I donât have a clue what Iâm thinking on the best of days.

I think of it as a massive wave of intimidation - maybe they didnât explode this time, but if things donât work out the way the perpetrator wants, it could be far more dangerous next time.
