It smells of Eau de GOPRatfucking.

ā€œThe controversy over Clinton’s email practices while she served as secretary of State has dogged her for more than a year.ā€

And yet, despite the endless scandals, lawsuits, Russian connections and sexual assault charges, etc., etc., surrounding Trump, he and the Right Wing gets away with making the stupid email thing the very definition of evil and crooked … ā€œthe worst thing since Watergateā€. This is like a really bad movie…one in which you keep wondering how the script ever got approved.

And the rape trial. It’s not going to begin until December 16 which would accommodate the pushed back date of the TrumpU trial which was pushed back to accommodate Election Day. See how it works?

Yep. Not only was Comey a part of the ridiculous ā€œWhitewaterā€ investigation, apparently as a US atty in NY he went after Bill Clinton’s pardon of Marc Rich trying to find some fault with it… So a long, long term Hillary Hunter, this awful man.

In a world, where febrile 70 year old Orange gropers in oversized blue suits and red ties attack defenseless young women, a 69 year old gran with ā€œDā€ emblazoned on her pant suit jacket is America’s only hope…"

Why is it that Republicans (Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Comey) have no compunctions about fucking with elections? Oh, that’s right, they don’t give a shit about America or Americans.

I’ve already voted for Secretary Clinton.

So have a lot of other people. Early voting shows she’s leading by 15 points.

Because of your reply to @ralph_vonholst’s comment about the hatred towards Clinton and the years long pursuit of anything to bring her down I’m putting in my two cents about why more women don’t run for office. A lot of them start with self doubt and then they see how they’re probably going to be treated by the men in elected office who are around them and then say ā€œI won’t be put through this.ā€ There are only 20 women in the Senate and about 84 in the House because it’s too demoralizing to try to break through entrenched misogyny. Okay, putting soap box away now.

@theghostofeustacetilley A repub from AL Mo Brooks wants first dibs on suggesting impeachment hearings for Clinton, said so in September.

I can’t even tell you how much this sentiment raises my blood pressure.

Whomever is elected will likely be impeached.

But on ā€œMeet The Pressā€, Chuck Todd took time to celebrate Andrea Mitchell’s birthday.

So there’s that.

Nor in a Trump administration, I should think. Comey has shown himself to be a craven functionary concerned more about protected himself than in following long-established norms of behavior. And that is the kindest reading that can be placed on his actions. An unkind (and more likely truer than false in my opinion) reading is that he wants to throw the election (or some portion, say Senate or House races) to the GOP.

In either case, he is a dangerous person to have in that office: like Trump himself, Comey is looking out only for himself. Trump isn’t going to be too impressed with that: everyone is supposed to know that Donald Trump is the center of the known universe.

Sending or receiving email is not in itself a serious crime. The head of the FBI should know that. This is just J.Edgar crap. The FBI has been too involved in politics for a long time, and should pay for this. The national crime lab should be broken off to be its own agency, same with felony law enforcement on reservations. The hunt for domestic terrorists should go to a different agency. The remaining federal criminal investigations agency should get a new name.

I wonder if we’ve learned anything about appointing enemies for the sake of ā€œbipartisanshipā€?

Probably not.

Laurence O’Donnell pointed out yesterday that when Secretary Clinton had her previous low point in the campaign, which was the last time Mr. Comey spoke, her numbers went down by 2 points and that her opponent did not pick up any points.
