Trump also criticized Clinton’s “off the reservation” comment as offensive to “the Indians.”

He meant “Redskins.”

True…

as offensive to “the Indians.”

Is kind of like saying… CPT is offensive to “the coloreds”. Doesn’t go over well.

No, her unfortunate remark wasn’t about Bill.

With Bill, it’s more about keeping him on the front porch than ‘off the reservation’.

If its in the National Enquirer…Donald trump believes it…

I wouldn’t expect anything more substantive from Andrea Mitchell.

Clinton’s still trying to figure out the best way to respond to the stupidity that is the real estate developer without sinking to his level of insults and then having to mud wrestle him and at the same time make her pitch to voters of both genders as to why he needs to be discounted as a presidential candidate while she’s ready from day one.

It was actually even richer. Drump said “The Indians Have Gone Wild” over Hillary’s remark.

well he and the Enquirer’s publisher are friends.

From what I caught from the interview (I was on a conference call I had to pay attention to for a few minutes at a time), it was a solid interview on both sides of the questions.

Of course, that’s not sexy enough to be newsworthy.

I liked the Putin reference–I’ve done what he dreams.

I think her best strategy is to ignore him as much as possible but get little digs in at times about things he cares about, like his wealth.

"the best way to respond to the stupidity "

She had best be careful. It’s been said 20 different ways as general observation and as it applies here, once she goes down to Trump’s level, the stupid level, she loses because that’s where he excels.

Yep, classic GOP shilling and lazy reporting by Mitchell. Just regurgitating what the GOPer tells her to say. Asking that question summarizes Mitchell’s biases perfectly.

Yes, Trump cares so much for the Indians.

Reason 1 – #DumpTrump
Does anyone remember 1993 when Donald Trump tried to sue the federal government because he felt allowing Indian Tribes to operate Casinos discriminated against him? Obviously Trump couldn’t handle the casino competition which is why the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City closed permanently in 2014.

While I think most would agree the “off the reservation” remark was just a poor choice of words, it’s just a blip. I think she’s doing exceedingly well at articulating genuine policy statements and a general positive outlook in response to Trump’s Trumpiness.

one of many phrases i wish would go away

If I were as smart and experienced as she is and had spent almost my entire life in and around politics, I’d be frustrated more than words can say to find myself battling a narcissistic, misogynistic demagogue with the vocabulary of a 10-year old foul mouthed kid whose supporters aspire to be him and will take to violence on his behalf.

I’m glad to hear that. Not having cable and having difficulty with uploading nearly anything NBC-related, I don’t watch MSNBC, so it’s good to hear this interview had some substance. Thank you.

The interview itself was substantive and informative to watch. However!!! The hand puppet round table was what has now become typical of MSNBC lean to the right.
These folks just slant everything they can against Clinton even if it is a single word in the framing of their comment. All MSNBC characters have definitely gotten “the word” and all will slide to the right.
If I was that Welker persons Dad I would slap her for her breathless “breaking news” style comments that are separated from reality. Then we all know Chris C (?) but Ann Page is an enigma to me as I can’t quite bracket her even when she subs on NPR. The end result is that “people don’t trust Hillary”, I mean , you know. Makes me more than angry.
MSNBC is getting harder to watch because of their actions as you don’t get the truth any more. It is sad because you can’t really get it anywhere on cable news.
