Discussion: Clinton Says Confederate Flag 'Shouldn't Fly Anywhere' In Stop Near Ferguson

Discussion for article #237780

Good for you, Hillary! Keep the issue front and center. I’m sure you’ve lost the vote of that guy who shot Michael Brown, but others will flock to you.

Finally watched the speech she gave in San Francisco. Impressive. My husband and I just don’t see a republican that can speak credibly to the issues facing us as a country.

It’s still going to be a long, winding and difficult road to November 2016.

“[T]ake this moment to not just focus on who pulled the trigger that day, but on the policies (cough…GOP), the people (cough…NRA) and the structures (cough…Fox) that are pulling the trigger daily.”

I seem to have a bit of a cough today.

The person who gets the Democratic nomination will be the next president of the United States. Go Hillary. Or Bernie. I could go Bernie.

Loved her stories about FDR, Eisenhower, Andrew Young and present-day mayors.

She’s been there, done that here and globally.

“Those people” can’t compete with her experience and/or intellectually or compassionately.

I hope she wipes the floor that they inhabit with their hairdos.

Hillary Clinton says Confederate Flag ‘Shouldn’t Fly Anywhere’

Dang, she is very quick in jumping on the Republican bandwagon.

Try harder, troll.

Bravo!

Give it up. You already got called out on your apologia for racism within he GOP and the major party realignment over civil rights the other day. Go find some place else to stink up with your trolling.

I’m not sure what’s more distressing, that she never says anything until she figures out which way the wind is blowing; or that when she final does say what everybody else has already said, she acts like she’s the first to have thought so originally or spoken so boldly.

Well the GOP via The Huffington Post now have their Clinton narrative to attack her on the Confederate battle flag. You see, Bill Clinton when he was governor signed a bill which made minor alterations to the flag back in 1987, and in the bill that was passed by the legislature approving the minor alterations, it contains descriptions on what the stars and the symbology of they represent. And one of the blue stars was to commemorate that Arkansas was part of the Confederacy.

Never mind that the blue stars and that explicit description for the symbology was there since 1923, and was merely a continuation of that description which had not bearing on the changes to the flag made in 1987, it is now a Hillary is a hypocrite meme.

Isn’t this fun kids?
