We have now officially reached the “testy, testy, testy” stage of the Democratic primary.
Which is still preferable, if less entertaining, than the Insane Clown Posse show on the other side.
Sanders is beginning to sound petty like another outside candidate on the right of the political spectrum.
So the Bernie camp hyperventilates about 4/4 being the evening of the NCAA final but does not give any excuse for the 14th or 15th? Bernie’s camp sounds more desperate each day as they know the delegate math does not work out for them. And that they do not do well in primary states versus caucus states.
This is yet another glaring example of her sneakiness and duplicity!!! How dare she attempt to upstage a basketball game!!! Shame on you Hillary!!!
Well, April 15th is Tax Day, and since Bernie cannot release his actual tax forms, he certainly can’t debate that night.
And April 14th is the day that Lincoln was assassinated. And France invaded Austria under Napoleon. Or the Anglo Persian Oil Company was formed at that day. Take you pick, one of them is obviously a conflict.
The Sanders campaign is getting really whiny.
What a cranky old man!!
By the way, Sanders also invoked the “superpredator” notion in 1994:
THis from a report on Huffington post some time ago, which I just ran across because I don’t read it. It was linked to from elsewhere.
Then Representative Sanders, who was in the House of Representatives at the time, was skeptical about the legislation when it was being debated. Though he would vote for its passage, he did have strong progressive-minded criticisms, lamenting the country’s mass incarceration problem and income inequality. “We can create meaningful jobs, rebuilding our society, or we can build more jails,” he said.
Sanders also added this caveat:
> It is my firm belief that clearly, there are people in our society who are horribly violent, who are deeply sick and sociopathic, and clearly these people must be put behind bars in order to protect society from them.
Has Sanders ever said why he is choosing not to release his tax forms, what is he hiding? Both the Clinton’s has released their’s going back decades.
And your shit is still the same shit, just a different day.
“What a cranky old man!!” You mean like this:
"Or the Anglo Persian Oil Company was formed at that day. "
Well that date will work for Clinton. For sure. Didn’t Anglo Persian go on to become Exxon?.
This was Bernie’s idea, no? If I recall he threw a bit of a fit until she said yes and now he has refused 3 different dates?
Good god!
“Hey you kids get that Clinton off my lawn!” He sounds older and crankier by far than McLame ever did and McLame lost his mind in the middle of his campaign.
“The idea that they want a debate in New York on a night of the NCAA finals—with Syracuse in the tournament no less—is ludicrous,” Briggs wrote.
Of course, we don’t even know if Syracuse will be playing on April 4. They have to get past the Tar Heels first. But, hey, any excuse is as good as the next, right? Way to pander, though, Briggs!
Truthfully I thought Ms. Clinton kept on too long in 2008. But I have little patience for Sen. Sanders this time. She had a legitimate chance to win if nominated that year. He has no shot. Bernie is no different than any other candidate. The idea that he is somehow above the fray and a different kind of politician has been exposed. Not that anyone who knew his history is surprised.
Seems like progress. A couple of days ago Team Clinton said they wouldn’t even talk about a NY debate unless Bernie changed his “tone.” Now Team Clinton has backtracked from their tone-deaf demand and are just haggling over dates. So, I think there will be a NY debate. And of course both sides will claim “victory.” Fine with me, as long as they debate.
Why? What’s going to change?
The Sanders campaign remains incredibly whiny.

This is all window dressing for Clinton going into full stall mode. She’s got this and a debate can’t help her position.
She’s got this and a debate can’t help his position. He’s not going to win in New York.
