The bottom line is that you can’t give the government a backdoor into everything. The bill of rights isn’t some bothersome document to be discarded at the first sign of difficulty. Quit cowering under your chair and asking the government to make the bad men go away.
My elderly Arizona parents, who wouldn’t get on an airplane for at least a year after 9/11, probably will be afraid to eat Belgian chocolate now.
Indeed, these people best reflect the 110%-striving mercantile corporate hegemony that along with secret agencies of the new and old worlds thoughtlessly motivated by empty platitudes and ancient lusts hijacked Western Civilization post WWII and via its increasingly high tech, soulless, money-focused mania has soiled the world and further stalled progress with both ISIL and Trump.
Republicans are screaming that it is unfair of the lame stream media to report Hillary’s presidential comments.
Absolutely! The press should be stationed in the Mar a Lago ballroom awaiting a Trump press conference.
We know waterboarding isn’t the answer, as Donald Trump has cleared that up for us. The answer, according to The Donald, is “something even worse.”
My point was many people are unrealistic in that they want total privacy and safety. And anytime an act of terror is perpetrated, the pressure on politicians to do more is going to be intense and they’re going to err on the side of taking away aspects of privacy. After all, no one wants a 9/11 type event on their resume.
So it’s going to be incumbent that we have a thoughtful Supreme Court to rein in the worst impulses of the citizenry.
Exactly, Trump is moving the goalposts – in TrumpWorld, interrogation starts at waterboarding, and just gets more severe from there.
If any of the talking heads interviewing Trump were actual journalists, they would ask him exactly what that “something even worse” entails.
Cigarette burns? Whippings? Bamboo under the finger nails? Thumb screws? The rack? Gratuitous root canals? Jumper cables to the genitalia?
Go ahead, Donald, don’t be shy, tell us exactly how much of a monster you are.
You know you want to.
How many here consider the Trump-Cruz campaign as torture?
So can they be brought up on class-action domestic terror charges? I would sign a petition.
I would rather be waterboarded than listen to another word from any GOP “candidate.”
I’m a coward… I’ll just ignore any of their verbal blatherings… I can read headlines and ignore the 'net / print articles.
