More proof the contest was rigged for Clinton! /s
How dare she win the place where she was the only one who campaigned!
This is inaccurate. Typically 85% would make the other candidate unviable. However, per The Green Papers, because of district level allocation rules, Clinton won 6 delegates and Sanders won 1, so Clinton went +5.
Barstool Palin: “Virgin Islands? How discriminatory!”
http://wapo.st/1TPFEmq Right on cue, Bernie throws a tantrum
He looks quite red-faced in that photo. Is that the light, or is he really ranting?
It’s probably a combination of both.
Rails against “establishment” super delegates one week , but wants to use the votes of the super delegates to flip the nomination the next?
Of course, because he’s Bernie Sanders, defender of democracy for the masses /snark.
After Tuesday, Bernie should be offered a 5 pm speaking slot on Day 2 of the DNC only. He’s become a costly distraction, and we’ve got to focus on burying Trump.
The party said Clinton won 84.2 percent of the vote, while Bernie Sanders earned 12.2 percent. Under Democratic National Committee rules, a candidate must win at least 15 percent of the vote to be eligible to receive delegates.
Depends on whether the percentages are figured for the whole USVI or district by district.
Bill Clinton in the Virgin Islands and Bernie Sanders in Puerto Rico? This seems a bit ironic and ass backwards, but it’s politics, not life.
After PR and NJ Tuesday, it’ll all be over. Cali will just be the thick, sweet delicious double fudge chocolate frosting on the cake. Bernie can cry all he wants about a “contested convention”, but it ain’t gonna happen. If he doesn’t support Clinton after she nails the nomination - after which Obama, Warren, Biden, and every other admired and influential Dem supports her - then he doesn’t get a speaking slot, and he doesn’t get anything else. Does Sanders and his clueless campaign team honestly believe that the entire Dem organization is going to go down on bended knee and kiss his ass? You won’t even hear about Sanders, just like you didn’t hear about Bernie after Clinton gave her foreign policy speech that she shoved up Trump’s ass. After she clinches the nomination, Bernie will be irrelevant; it will be Clinton vs. Trump in the headlines.
And I can’t wait until Hillary’s victory is shoved right up Jeff Weaver’s ass. I want to see that traitorous motherfucker crying in primetime on national television. Hey, I don’t ask for much!
No Clinton support = no speaking slot. If he refuses, tell him to go fuck himself.
Cali is going to make us wait … It’s going to be a close shave for Clinton, but I think she pulls it out.
That’s what I say!
I was hoping my state of NJ would be the one to seal the deal. But if Clinton sweeps PR the way she did VI, it’s over tonight.
She going to have it sown up by then, with the NJ win.
It’s all over for old berns, except the tears…oh, and 100% more finger pointing.
Interesting. I think she blows him out in CA. Other than the win Sanders squeaked out in MI, he doesn’t win the large-delegate states with diverse populations. In fact, he loses most of them by double-digit percentages. NJ definitely will follow the NY/PA/MD Northeast pattern, especially since he hasn’t campaigned here or advertised here at all, and I suspect CA will follow suit.
