Clinton’s speech was ignored by cable news networks, which were covering an insult-laden Trump victory press conference instead.

Sometimes I wonder if Vince sits in his car and wonders to himself

ā€œIf I didn’t harass that tanning booth lady, had Benoit happen on my watch or worse yet Linda’s campaigns; maybe just maybe, I could have been Mike Tyson.ā€

then he cries and gets ready for ā€˜Jerry World’.

Hillary has been trailing Bernie in Michigan all evening, and I’m afraid with Bernie hammering on the trade issue she could lose the industrial Midwest, including Ohio and Wisconsin.

They showed the speech with a delay on MSNBC. It was a great speech and a real contrast to what the Republicans have to offer. I think the ā€œwe don’t have to make America great againā€¦ā€ part will really resonate in the general because, at the end of the day, voters prefer an optimistic candidate.

I still support Sanders but I thought her speech was pretty much pitch-perfect.

So, which is worse and more toxic to its citizenry: American Cable News or British Tabloids?

but notice what the networks choose to chase…

it’s not aggrieving me, but while Trump is maybe doing a heel better than Kevin Owens; the most important thing about heels is being ignored.

Heels aren’t supposed to be cheered. Now its the 21c and all of that, but if you told me that a 70 yr old man was producing better tv, than the guy who is considered the 20c Barnum…something is wrong with that.

Definitely not looking good for our girl right now. Off to bed for me. Live to fight another day!

Clinton started her speech after Trump was well underway, thus the tape delay. My guess is the average msnbc viewer would rather watch Clinton but I guess they did that to be ā€˜fair’-ish kinda sorta.

Well, it’s not that bad. It a close race race in Michigan, which means they’ll split the delegates. And Hillary will receive most of the delegates from Mississippi. Bernie will have to start winning by very large margins if he hopes to win enough pledge delegates to secure the nomination.

Thanks for the chin up! The world needs more glass is half full people like you! I’m a wee bit competitive and I love getting the win.

I hate losing , too. But even though we lost this round, we are still ahead on points.

It’ll be interesting to see how the delegates come out. Remember that delegates are awarded by precinct, not directly proportionate to the statewide vote, and Obama won by getting more delegates even in states that he narrowly lost by running up votes in particular areas. I suspect Hillary wasn’t doing that, at least not in Michigan where she was supposed to be well ahead, but I’m betting both campaigns are now paying close attention to delegates.

I just looked at Bloomberg and if I’m reading it right Hillary won a total of 87 delegates last night (both MI and MS) and Bernie won 69. Total delegate count right now: Hillary 745 to Bernie’s 540.

Unbelievable that the entire Trump infomercial was shown while speeches from Sanders are routinely interrupted or ignored by the cable news networks. Clinton’s speech was completely ignored so we could all watch Trump hang out with his clubhouse friends. The rise of fascism in the US is aided and abetted by the corporate media. Disgraceful.
