Don’t let up now, Madame President.

Be articulate as hell…

She’s beginning to hit 50 percent in these polls. In a few more weeks, when several more polls show the same movement, that lead will be baking into the cake. Clinton rises to the top of the cake batter while Trump sinks to the bottom to get his ass burned along with Johnson and Stein.

The wild gyrations in Hillary’s lead do not necessarily correlate to the subjective contours of the race as it plays out in real time. The inherent volatility in any collection small samples of such a large population (bear in mind, these polls typically sample 600-800 people, which is then supposed to model the behavior of some 125-130 million people (over 127 million voted int he 2012 election) should make one sufficiently suspicious of the hard percentages of any single poll. You can however take comfort in the consistency with which all polls show HRC leading, as regardless of the methodology of the poll, she is enjoying a lead in every one of them. This is pretty close to over, barring a mis-step of some unimaginable magnitude.

Actually kind of depressing.

There’s still a lot of really stupid people out there and I ain’t relaxin’ until November 9th

I think the sad thing she’s only leading by 6 pts. What does that say about the voters in this country, who are still willing to support trump after all the things he has said?

This trend will bother Donnie even more than getting buried in the landslide this November.

According to the Bloomberg survey, Clinton benefits from consolidated Democratic support around her candidacy and backers who are more interested in electing her than in simply stopping her opponent.

Maybe I’m reading it wrong but that’s kind of surprising to me. I thought the Trump true believers were motivated by him rather than antipathy for her.

Note that the June poll was taken June 14, which was the absolutely height of the “Mexican” judge issue, when many top Republicans were openly calling him a racist. The polls in late June were generally more favorable to Trump. So the 12-point margin was pretty inflated.

I just went to the section on polling methodology, and none of it is broken down by racial and ethnic group. Considering that a number of other polls have shown wildly ridiculous numbers for Hispanic support for Trump, I’m not taking this particular one all that seriously.

I’m not sure what the point is. National polls are useless in predicting outcomes, aren’t they? That she leads in states like PA and elsewhere seems to be far more relevant.

I would love to be a fly on the wall of Trump’s money counters. Last we heard, his hotels had been experiencing a nose-dive in reservations.

I think this is important. We need to be more open about why we are supporting Hillary rather than just #DumpTrump. If we can dispel some of the faux fog about her likability and honesty and build up memes on strength, compassion, and competence, we may lure more independents and a few more Repubs.

That’s my understanding as well. However, they can be useful if there are obvious trends. For the most part, they are just harder confirmation of what’s happening in those individual state polls. Additionally, as you’re aware, it’s all in the methodology. So, yeah, I take this with a couple grains of salt – but the salt tends to fly right into Donnie’s eyes.

Don’t get out much do you?
Just ask any Trump supporter (I have a shitload of relatives who support him) When you confront them with all things bad about Trump , it devolves into … He has problems but I can’t vote for Hillary because… and follows a litany of Faux talking points.
The conservative entertainment complex has been demonizing Hillary for 20 plus years and I hate to say it but it worked. Hate of the Clintons is what drives a majority of them and they could care less what Trump says . He’s not Hillary

I bet no one has dared explain electoral college math to him. There must be suffient rage to deal with just looking at national polls. Wasn’t Melania his “eye on the polls”? I would be making myself scarce if I was her…oh, wait…

A couple months ago, while speaking with a nurse at the hospital, she lamented that there were no good choices this time. In a matter-of-fact manner, I laid out my reasons for exactly why I’m supporting Hillary Clinton. I told her that I am quite happy and excited to get to vote for her. I got the feeling this lady was probably a Republican, but I did get it across that not everyone who’s supporting Hillary is doing so out of animosity for Trump and what he brings out in people. I decided long ago–even when Bernie was still a viable candidate–to make it clear to others that I am actually happy to vote for Hillary, that she really is my choice.
