Very irresponsible for Comey to toss this innuendo out there so soon before the election, especially since the means to assess the significance of this is fully within Comey’s control. Edit- All it is so far is a vehicle for Trump to use to disseminate lies that suggest H is guilty of something in the total absence of facts… Kinda like Trump saying Cruz’s dad was involved in the JFK assassination. At least when GWB’s dui arrest was disclosed soon before the 2000 election, this was a fact, and the public could fairly assess the significance of a very old dui case.

The question is whether anyone is talking about this Monday morning. From everything I’ve read that’s not likely. We have a new tape, video I think, of Trump humiliating a Miss Universe because of a perceived and probably nonexistent slight. He makes orgasm jokes about her while she’s onstage with him and then tries to plant a kiss on her lips as she attempts to extricate herself. Nice. We can watch this. The e-mails have always been a little complicated compared to things like that. Great if you have a preexisting Hillary hate but not a mass-market needle-mover. Hillary remains a quite plausible President. Donald remains a pig.
It will fade over the weekend, but it is relegating to a blip the real story of the day, that is that GDP grew at a 2.9% clip last quarter, the strongest in the last two years, or three times Trump’s claim of 1% growth. And 2.9% growth is esp. robust for a mature economy like in the U.S.

Somehow the Republicans have managed to put a pejorative spin on the word “email,” despite the fact that each and every one of those jackasses, as well as 99% of the people reading this tripe, send emails as well.
But you put the word “email” with “Clinton,” and somehow we’re in the middle of a scandal. Regardless of content, or lack thereof. This has been a huge boon for Trump and the GOP, but here’s the fact: there isn’t a stitch of evidence of wrongdoing in any of these messages. Just the simple fact that they are private seems to alarm the delusional Hillary Haters of the world, private like every other person’s emails are.
No one wants their emails made public – they are private correspondences – but that doesn’t mean there is even one iota of criminal or ethically challenged activity described therein.

Please note that Comey sent that letter to Republicans only. I think it’s a very important distinction to make here. In any other similar major investigation, the FBI would have notified leaders from both parties on these Congressional committees. This stinks to high heaven.

- The Clinton campaign is already asking for transparency.The campaign is clearly not scared of what’s in these emails and is asking for the FBI to put out more info for the public.
