Discussion: Clinton: 'I Take No Satisfaction' In Trump's Flailing Campaign

Fair enough Hilz but many of us (POTUS included, imo) deeply enjoy seeing Trump setting his hair on fire and going down in flames.

I agree much damage done and healing necessary. We must pull the foreign body thorn from our side as part of the healing process.

Trump at best perhaps an unwitting Agent Orange. Trump thrives on conspiracy theory. Perhaps he himself is part of one. Given that at his intelligence briefing he was given evidence that the Russians were hacking our political campaign, his suggestion at two debates that there was no evidence of that (e.g., “perhaps a 400 pound person sitting on a sofa did it”) makes sense only if he truly is voluntarily working with the Russians or they are blackmailing him with something much more damning than has already been released to the media so far. I suspect the second is true. I would wager he knows that the Wikileaks stuff is coming from Russia to unsettle Hillary and help him, but doesn’t realize, or more likely doesn’t care, that he is simply one card in the much larger game the Russians are playing.

I believe the disconnect between intelligence briefing content (confirmed by intelligence officers) and Trump’s public statements windows a seriously impaired mind and/or an irredeemably compromised candidate. The sexual misconduct is bad, but this likely to be far worse.

I have a sinking feeling Trump isn’t going away on November 9.

He’s going to be so aggrieved at the shellacking he’s about to be on the receiving end of, that he’ll spend the next four years harassing Hillary.

And if he has Trump TV, he’ll fire up the deadenders (the ones who have the time to spend 12 hours holding long guns outside a Democratic official’s office) to make Hillary’s life miserable and her job difficult.

“You gave her 4 to 8” !!! :joy:

I have to admit I always respected Hillary and thought she was likable enough, you might say. But I think we’re all seeing reserves of grace, dignity and wisdom in this person that I sure am pleasantly surprised by. One thing Trump is brilliant at is dragging people down to his level. That hasn’t happened, and it’s a great credit to her.

I have mixed feelings about Trump’s blame game and ultimate downfall. Watching him lose as the yuuuge loser that he has always been is very satisfying, But him blaming conspiracies and vote rigging is only going to stir up his uneducated, low-information voter base and make the future more and more difficult for the majority of us who are actually sane.

“So make no mistake, we do have to repair the damage which he has done”

Hillary, he deserves everything he’s getting. He’s lying about a rigged election, and everything else.

The racist, misognists aren’t going to believe the election results, even when you win by 20% points! It’s going to be ugly. The loser gop/bags won’t lift a finger to rein in the monster they’ve created either!

#VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

Put a stop to his political designs once and for all. Let the Republicans deal with
the Trump Horror Show that’s sure to continue after the election.
For now…vote!

Bury him on Wednesday soon-to-be Madame President! I like the sound of that.

Why act presidential now ? You will get plenty of time for that after Nov.9, 2016, I hope.

It’s certainly possible there could be trouble during and after the election. I don’t think much trouble—99 percent of these people will probably just yell at the TV like always. But I wouldn’t worry about Trump TV as a factor any time soon. If Trump were the most together and trusted guy in the world, a guy people were eager to work with and lend money to, if he were truly a smart, talented person, it would still take a year or two to get something like that going. As the person he actually is—a mentally ill, undisciplined ignoramus—I think he’d be lucky to have as good a run as Palin had after she quit. He may have legal affairs that will require his attention as well. :innocent:

He might, but if there’s one thing that turns off followers in America, it’s losing an election. I’d be willing to wager that after he loses, around 95-99% of his current support will suddenly vanish into thin air.

Lets put it this way: How many supporters did Kerry, McCain, and Romney have post-election?

Trump may still have a hardcore base of true believers post-election, but it’s a very, very small segment of the population. Small enough that we won’t really care about it unless they start doing very stupid things (break laws). In which case they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Laws of our Nation which they openly disdain.
