Discussion: Clinton: I ‘Respect’ Way Sanders Handled Restaurant Boot, But WH Can’t Expect 'Civility'

"so if they want to have more civility, they need to take the lead and stop the name calling.”

Never in a million years, with this Mal-administration.

My two cents.

“because Clinton hadn’t budgeted enough funding to combat aides.” Typo. I think they mean “AIDS.”

No, the Clinton administration should have appropriated more funds to combat their own staff. A tactical mistake most new Presidents make.

"You can’t foment as much hatred as been’s fomented by the administration without having a blowback, so if they want to have more civility, they need to take the lead and stop the name calling.”

I expect more name calling and Trump cabinet shaming in the weeks ahead. My great fear is Trump uses the protests to successfully initiate violence against Democrats. Once we start down that rat hole there is no end to tribal violence.

Agree… but it’s not just this administration… It’s the post-Gingrich Republican party

TPM–

Please. Enough of who said what about who did what.

Some Trumpster threw a bucket of chickenshit at The Red Hen restaurant during a protest yesterday.
Strange, I don’t remember the owner of The Red Hen throwing a bucket of chickenshit at Sarah Huckabee Sanders (which would be redundant anyway). She just politely asked her to leave.
But I haven’t seen any front-page headlines or any tear-stained editorials from the media about how “uncivil” this action by a Trump supporter was, although the pearl-clutching about poor Sarah being denied her place at the trough was everywhere.
I’m tired of Democrats always being expected to be the civil ones. Yeah, fuck civility!

You know, that makes a lot more sense. Early as it is, I have been trying to figure out what a combat aide was.

Clinton hadn’t budgeted enough funding to combat aides.

Rahm Emanuel and Sidney Blumenthal, in particular.

Right, and voters get to express themselves too. Bill Clinton fucked up big time, couldn’t keep his hands of a young intern and as a result I had to live with eight years of George Bush. So fuck Bill Clinton. And his nagging, ‘it’s not my fault’ self-serving wife as well. Because of her I have to live with the madness of Trump.

But ooooh, the misogyny! What, no ‘ism’s’, no Identity Politics? And BTW, stick with your civility. Mitch McConnell is laughing in you face, all the way to the SC.

And sexual predators like Bill Clinton should not expect civility either.

Who is writing these headlines?
Clinton:Trump pours poison, Don’t Expect “Civility” Fixed it.

And as our great leader Josh has opined, you get on the Trump wagon and you become a dignity wrath.

STFU, darcy. Or crooks, or whatever your name is, you nasty little being.

You share the blame for a Trump win. Own it.

I don’t know–if the media writ large is going to report every Trump tweet and air every utterance live–the more air time and column space that can be filled with other voices, the better.

AKA the Tea Party…??

I expect we’ll see violence in November. They’ll be all over Dem precinct polling places, intimidating people, possibly physically. When the results come in, he’ll be all over the place tweeting about how it was fixed, and fomenting rebellion. When rules don’t apply to one side, there is no limit to the abuse they will provide.

Yeah, like Bill Clinton and his wife were shown sooooo much civility, even without the sexual predation charges.
Oh, and how does that consensual relationship with Monica figure into this? Of course, everyone here knows Bill never paid the price for his actions. Right? You would think that the Senate would have removed him from office after his impeachment in the House, especially after he made that remark about men being able to grab women by their private parts without consequence.
Oh, wait…

In the era of smart phones and the Internet and instant video feeds, it’s a lot harder to do.
