Discussion: Clinton: Donald Trump's Reaction To Orlando Shooting Is 'Shameful'

Madame President-Presumptive, just remove everything but “Donald Trump Is Shameful” and you’ve got your stump speech the rest of the way.

Trump:

If we don’t get tough, and if we don’t get smart, and fast, we’re not going to have our country anymore. There will be nothing, absolutely nothing, left. The killer, whose name I will not use, or ever say, was born in Afghan, of Afghan parents, who immigrated to the United States.

Trump, same speech:

She has no clue, in my opinion, what radical Islam is and she won’t speak honestly about it if she does, in fact, know. She’s in total denial, and her continuing reluctance to ever name the enemy broadcasts weakness across the entire world — true weakness.

What a jackass. Obama just tore him to shreds.

Shorter Clinton: I have this thing locked up if you keep watching that buffoon with small hands.

I like that she referred to him time and again as “Donald”, not ‘Mr. Trump’. Well done.

I’d call him “Don”. Or “Donnie”.

I certainly do not agree with Trumps unthoughtful bombastic blanket approach to immigration, but it has made me think about what does our tolerance as an open society require? Does our tolerance both individually and as a society require us to tolerate those who hold beliefs that call for our destruction, that are incompatible with the pluralism our society is based on? I would argue that tolerance does not require this and that when considering the matter of immigration it is applicable.

We’re getting very close to the point when some grounded Republican is going to need to request that Donald “the draft dodging coward” Trump be involuntarily admitted to a psychiatric hospital for observation. He obviously shows the tendency to want to harm himself. Heh-heh!

Or, if not, we all have a great seat to watch him have a mental breakdown upon defeat.

And again with the “railing” – please Ms. Jerde, expand your vocabulary.

“These aren’t demonstrably lies but he feels compelled to tell them because he has to distract us from the fact that he has nothing substantive to say for himself,” Clinton said."

Er, did she misspeak or did you mis-report? That should be “these are demonstrably lies…” Given TPM’s copy editing problems, I’m going to guess it’s the later.

She took him apart. Totally. Way to go!

Now tell us about how the GOP is diverting the discussion away from gun control b/c basically most of them are sucking on the NRA teet and have chosen to protect the NRA instead of the lives of the innocent…

You saw that too .No anger translator needed on this one. It was EXCEPTIONAL He handed Trump and the republicans their ass. Basically called them children. Radical Islam . He said it over and over telling them fools, what does that accomplish? Calling them names won’t stop ISIL. He now owns the phrase. God I am going to miss that man ,

Unfortunately the real threats to our way of life are American citizens like Trump, the republican senate and Newt. The enemy is much much closer than you think.

What makes you think that a few immigrants can take down our country? Our own voters are doing a much better job than any madman with gun can do.

It was the strongest speech of his Presidency.

It’s like, “No, it doesn’t broadcast weakness. It signals to one billion people that we’re still friends. Kind of like you hilariously tried to do when you tweeted a picture of a freaking taco salad, moron.”
