And now Repugs are going to block her SC nominees throughout her term and conduct nonstop “investigations” of her because she dare be president while w/o penis. They are going full Obama gridlock on steroids. Must deliver landslides in House and Senate too in order to bring sanity back to governing and send the dangerous-to-our-Democracy guys packing.
Otherwise the majority who don’t pay attention will be vaguely aware there’s gridlock and throw all the bums out when only half the bums are causing the gridlock.
But enough of that. Yes, the current First Lady is a model of grace and every other desirable quality. There’s a lot wrong with this country but putting the Obama family in the White House twice excuses a good bit of it. Thank you, Hillz, for pointing it out.
Michelle is amazing, isn’t she. So comfortable in her skin, in her role as First Lady.
I hope she and Obama greatly enjoy their lives after they leave the White House. They so deserve it.
I think they’ll be happy and do great stuff. Barack’s commitment to fight gerrymandering will be hugely helpful IMHO. Michelle isn’t as interested in public life from what I read. But she’ll do great things I’m sure. One thing: They’ll never have the privacy and safety of anonymity any more, not for the rest of their lives. I wish we could make that up to them somehow.
Yes!
Has anyone ever seen a classier act then Michelle, I haven’t. She truly does make me proud. Imagine the inspiration she is for young girls everywhere.
It is beyond mere policy differences to set your GOP course on effectively eliminating the third branch of government, thereby giving yourself carte blanche to pass whatever the hell unconstitutional laws you want to pass with no Court push back. It is the end of our Democracy as we know it, and the terrorists and Putin will have won.
Just another example of inconsistent GOP policy. They have no problem with Speaker Ryan and Majority Leader McConnell serving while w/o testicles.
OT, but since you broached the subject:
Cruz, McConnell and McCain are on record suggesting they may block all Clinton nominees to the Supreme Court. Federal law provides that “The Supreme Court of the United States shall consist of a Chief Justice of the United States and eight associate justices,” i.e., nine serving justices (28 U.S. Code §1). I would like to see the AG file an action against those three and all other similarly minded GOP senators for a conspiracy to violate Federal law.
I agree, but is it not much safer just to elect Dem majorities?
Yes, so long as they’re willing to follow Reid’s suggestion to end the filibuster of Supreme Court nominees.
Wow when you look at it like that, think how hard Bill will have it being the first first gentleman…well trying to be a gentleman that is!
