Just the look on her face as she sat listening to Gowdy rave was priceless…Westmoreland, Jordan, Roby and the first lady with the circa 1973 hair-do, shameful.

Westmoreland was way off script here, blaming the security personal, and reiterating it after she defended them.
If you are going to put up a committee for sole purpose of trying to denigrate a particular witness, it would make sense to have a - you know - strategy.

Some Freudian truth seems to have slipped in there.

So when Rep. Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA) says “well they missed something here because 4 people are dead” (never mind that they themselves were among the dead)… does that apply to Bush for missing something when all the thousands died on 9/11? or the tens of thousands named and multiple thousands killed when he missed something in the decision to invade Iraq?

What about all those who died in Katrina, did Bush obviously miss something there too?

I mean let’s decide on a single standard here with which to assesses who missed what shall we Mr. Westmoreland?

Congressman, let’s talk about… that request, which your Party didn’t consider important, to increase security at U.S. embassies.

Please… say it…

I must say it is refreshing to hear a cndidate stand up for their people after watching so many GOP folks throwing their people under the bus. (Yes, Christie, that includes you.)
