What part of “trump’s not going to win” don’t you understand. You seem to think an email story is going to undo her support when she has majority support from voters, those who have yet to vote and those who have already voted. Think Latinos, women, Muslims and African Americans are going to desert her over this non-story? Get a grip.

Yeah and early voting has already started in whole lot of states. We’ve already had one whole week of record setting voter turnout in Dallas Co and we still have another week of early voting to go.
The election is in process. People who haven’t decided who they are voting for are not going to decide based on this or any other news story. People who can’t decide between these two candidates this close to the election are not worth worrying about, frankly.

Our early voting began October 10, so imagine how many might have been turned in so far in a state that’s been in her column since forever. I’m at a loss to understand why someone would so quickly say, oh, she’s going to lose. It just turns everything we know on its head A very smart and wise TPMer (whom we all know and love) passed this on to me and I think I’ll stick with it. An optimist often is disappointed. By definition a pessimist cannot be disappointed.

I was born optimistic and it has worked for me so far.
I don’t believe there are that many undecided voters out there and if this turns them against Hillary that still doesn’t equate automatically into a vote for Trump.
There’s no guarantee that any undecideds will ever decide.

Thank you Hillary for your powerful message. What Comey did defies protocol and it must be dealt with. Besides, he should have sought the department’s communications and legal chiefs advice, prior to releasing to Congress. Now he’s got a bullseye painted on agency he serves!

Girlfriend stood up to him today and trounced on Trump’s celebration of this awful news! He’s not going to get much leverage off of this. Folks are measuring the costs in this election cycle.

He can be fired at the President’s whim. He has a ten year appointment but that doesn’t mean he can’t be fired. Anyone who serves at the President’s behest can be fired.

I’d add that he seems to suffer from the arrogance that afflicts too many law enforcement officers when confronted with issues that require more complex judgments.
Unfortunately, his startlingly poor understanding of the political turf he’s playing on have placed Hillary in a very awkward situation. It seems to me that they shouldn’t go too far in displaying anger toward Comey because that would make this tempest in Anthony Weiner’s teapot seem more significant than it is.

That is a great point. Too bad Fitzpatrick couldn’t go after them at the time. He would undoubtedly have caught some fish, but prosecutors are not allowed to go fishing (with good reason).
