I still donât understand how an almost intact bullet was found on that hospital gurney.
Here is your nothing-burger, sir. And the billâ$7,000,000. Plus tip.
No October surprise here. Not surprising that Howdy Gowdy canât even read a calendar.
Guess Ryan will have to seat a whole new committeeâŚobviously this one didnât spend enough. Maybe he should have Americas dumbest congresscritter Louie Gohmert chair that one.
OFC the burners are still holding out hope for the FBI imminent indictmentâŚ
Youâre out of date. Itâs election fraud that will get Hillary now. Didnât you read about the âStanford reportâ which proved election fraud by exit polling?
There are investigations of fraud in several states. Did you hear thatâinvestigations!!
She is doomed.
Anyway, Bernie polls better against Trump since⌠since forever!
The way Republicans go after both Hillary and Elizabeth Warren reminds of that sci-fi movie where the monster sucks up and internalizes all the energy that is used to try and kill it and it only helps it grow bigger and stronger. Dam if I can remember the name of it.
So there really IS such a thing as a Nothingburger with cheese.
Ryan called the House sit in the other night a publicity stunt. Heâd know. The BENGHAZI!!! hearings were a continuing series of stunts. The only difference is the former cost virtually nothing while these hearings cost $7 million.
Edited to cite the stupidity of repub member of the House. I know, itâs redundant
âEverybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because sheâs untrustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened, had we not fought.â
@fargo116 Youâve described Paulie from WI which produces the best cheese.
One more timeâŚ
Well, duhhh.
On October 23, 1983, terrorists blew up the American military barracks in Beirut.
241 Americans died, including 220 Marines.
Those Marines had been ordered into Lebanon by President Ronald
Reagan as a part of an international peacekeeping force following the
June 1982 Israeli invasion of that country and the Palestine Liberation
Organizationâs withdrawal.
Making an already-dangerous situation even more hazardous, the
> Marines were under strict presidential orders not to load their weapons â
this, so that they would appear as peacekeepers and not as armed
belligerents in the conflict and despite the fact that they were moving
into a war zone.
Realistically, they had become âsitting ducksâ from the moment they
entered Beirut. And as a result of their absurd orders, when the
> explosives-laden truck sped toward their doomed barracks, the two
> unarmed guards had no way of stopping it.
âI was not persuasive enough to persuade the
president that the Marines were there on an impossible mission,â Caspar
Weinberger says in an oral history project capturing the views of
former Reagan administration officials. He said one of his greatest
regrets was in failing to overcome the arguments that ââMarines donât
cut and run,â and âWe canât leave because weâre thereââ before the
devastating suicide attack on the lightly armed force.
âThey had no mission but to sit at the airport, which is just like
sitting in a bullâs-eye,â Weinberger said. âI begged the president at
least to pull them back and put them back on their transports as a more
defensible position.â
By contemporary Republican standards, Ronald Reaganâs corpse should be exhumed, subjected to a 13-hour grilling in a hot Congressional committee room, and then impeached.
âKronosâ
This explains Jebâs low energy.
The WaPOâs Phillip Bump gets this one exactly right:
The House report will likely be yet another Clintonian Rorschach test. Most Democrats will see it as a non-issue. Most Republicans will see it as an indictment. The Trumpian conspiracy theorists will see it as something else entirely. What itâs unlikely to do is change many minds, given that the concrete has already set.
Spot-reading comments around the web proves the above to be true, which means this, the ultimate Benghazi report will change very few minds. Those who believe it is an issue were not going to vote for Clinton, anyway.
Best picture ever of what she really thinks of the âcommitteeâ and itâs âinvestigationâ.
So the democrats on the committee release one report and the republicanâs release another. HA, what a total WASTE of $7M. Next time just give me $1M and I will write a load of bullshit for you to approve!
Excellent! ââŚSuck the earth dry of energyâŚâ Too late, Exxon got here first.
Calling an un-refereed report written by two graduate students the âStanford Reportâ is incredibly misleading and makes it appear that Stanford Univ. has endorsed the report. There is no Stanford report. There is only a report by a couple of Stanford students that has not been vetted. Furthermore, we know that exit polls can be incredibly misleading. For example, large numbers of California voters use vote-by-mail and therefore would not be included in any exit polls.
People who are concerned about election fraud should focus on technologies that facilitate such fraud, such as paperless touch screen voting machines and internet voting. In California we have paper ballots AND, unlike many states, mandated post-election ballot audits to check on the results. We also have the capacity to conduct recounts, something that is not possible in 15 states because some or all of the voters will be casting their ballots via paperless voting technologies in the 2016 election. The fact that in 2016 we will not be able to verify the presidential election, as well as many Senate and House races, is the real scandal.
I get the updates on âfraudâ via my Bernista cousin on FB. Just today she was extolling a video in which Bernie confirms he is still running.
Ugh.
Thanks for the link to addictinginfo.org, bluestatedon - I was unfamiliar with that site but got sucked in and started reading. Anyone wondering who could possibly be supporting Trump needs to read the article about 'winger panic over the sightings of United Nations vehicles being transported in Virginia. The theory is that these vehicles - which were purchased by the UN for overseas missions, built in the US, and transported on flatbeds to whatever port(s) theyâre shipping from - were really on their way to âunderground facilitiesâ beneath WalMarts that have closed. The reason that they are here is to begin taking away 'merkins guns.
Because God. And Revelation. And Jade Helm.
{ sigh }
