Trump specializes in bombast. If he cranks it up enough (a given) he gets all sorts of free publicity. Unfortunately, it’s just the message that resonates with his base. Fortunately for the rest of us, it’s unlikely to get him elected.

Well, to be fair…
Trump farts out something stupid, the Media and Trump apologists get to spend countless hours babbling about it, and why Clinton is the devil!!!1!1 and really the bad one…

Clinton only gets a mention to say “how terrible this email thing is”

Drumpf voters are already locked in place. Kind of a clueless fugue state.

It’s the undecided’s that are critical to Hillary, as well as getting the DEM vote out in bigly yuge numbers this November.

Hey, remember when you guys used to tease us Canadians about Rob Ford? Well, I see your Mayor Crackpipe, and I raise you a President Cubic Zirconia…

Yeah, but set in precious pewter!

What’s immediately important after the election is figuring out WHY - why is there such a mass of politically frustrated idiots out there? This took place to a vastly more sane degree on the left too - its a question worth getting an answer to.

This is a “no good money after bad” situation. Better to party down, blow the wad on lobsters and champagne (at Trump properties) than to blow it on a campaign that is about to be 10 points down in the 4th quarter.

Wonder if Trump doesn’t want to spend any of that new $35 million the Repubs raised thinking that in the future if there’s money left they will pay him back for his loan he had to change to a contribution.

Wouldn’t put anything past him.

…and with a quarterback who doesn’t actually know what game he’s playing, and keeps breaking his own leg bones.

Being a professional grifter I imagine Trump has devised a way to pocket a helluva lot of money from his campaign funds and associated PACS in lieu of spending it on the election.

It’s OK! Donny’s ‘twitterstorms’ get untold millions of dollars in coverage, analysis and free play. So, with the media assistance (Bloomberg estimated he got more than $2billion in free coverage during the primaries.) , Clinton will probably get less air time, and she will certainly get every negative the MSM and cable can rehash.
They are all working double time to make this a horse race and they’ve twisted themselves into pretzels to make it appear so, “Trump just needs to do …blah, blah, blah…in order to close the gap. He has an opening. He still has a path…and on and on and on.”

At this point, I believe it’s totally reasonable to presume he has no interest in being President and is playing this whole damn thing to line his pockets.

Ah, Pence-y. Ah, Christie. We barely knew ya.

Word!

From The Nation:
Does he really lose if he loses the race in November. He’s brought his brand to a far broader global audience on a stage so much larger than any Apprentice imaginable. He could lose dramatically, blame the Republican establishment for being mean to him, and then expand the Trump brand into new realms, places like Russia, where he’s long craved an opening. Vladimir Putin and he could golf together bare-chested while discussing the imminent demise of the American empire. “My country could have been great again,” he could sigh, “if only it had voted me in.” His consolation prize: a Trump Casino in Moscow’s Red Square? In other words, whether the establishment supports him or not, whether he wins on November 8 or not, his brand wins, which means that he triumphs.

This is a branding campaign driven by social media. He doesn’t think he needs to spend money. Trump thinks he’s going to be CEO of America.

She’s outspending him by A LOT. I worry though since that is not really reflected in the State polls (yet).

Meanwhile, recent polls suggest UT, GA, and MO might be in play. In fact, Bill will be campaigning in UT, which they wouldn’t do without seeing any potential there.

Hopefully we will see our map widened!

Just a little prick, and the whole hot air balloon collapses.

He’s a little prick; he may end up with nothing when it’s over.

Imagine living in a battleground state this year. Even if you’re an HRC voter…3 months of ads for a single candidate. Ug. Hopefully at some point the POTUS race becomes academic and more and more focus shifts down-ticket.

The real question is what happens to the “Trump Brand.”

If that collapses, Mr. Trump collapses.

Could he become effectively, if not actually, homeless, by the end of the year?
