As for Stein - More accurately, what I said was that your credibility here in this forum would take a hit, which you seem to agree it has. Perhaps the two things are unrelated.

Undoubtedly true, as the site was/is choc-o-block with HRC partisans. It used to be more diverse. And younger, I imagine. (Josh would know)

What I said is that I would vote for Clinton if it was going to be a close contest in Illinois. It wasn’t, and I didn’t. Ask squirreltown. See, being a lefty, I tend not to vote for people who vote for unjust wars, or for people who are in charge while the State.Department works to screw poor Haitians. Unless, of course, I have to.
In this edition of “Ask the squirrel” I would remind you that you switched to that position late, after spending the previous year saying, as everyone was, that you would “vote for the nominee”.

Without going back to figure out the date, and parsing out what qualifies as “late” in your view, you got me: I changed my mind. I dunno; maybe it was the crappy convention; maybe it was the leaks that proved that the DNC really was in the bag for Clinton during the primaries. But at some point it became too much for me to vote for a person who voted for the Iraq War, when I knew that my vote would have no bearing on the outcome of the election. If y’all want to keep your tits in a wringer over my good faith effort to vote my conscience, knock yourselves out. It’s free country.

Oh, yeah, you got me there clunker. The long run view - that demographics and Republican unpleasantness was enough to win elections without Ds being a party of the left - has really, really paid off, big league! We got 'em right where we wanted 'em! Stay the course!!
Well, you claim to be a Democrat who gives fervent and unflinching support for someone who supports military coups; lobbies for lowering poor Haitians’ wages; and votes for unjust and disastrous wars. I can certainly not accuse you of thinking in terms of black and white.
