Murder by cop.
It only took three years for them to be fired…
“The ‘Headstone’ Cops”
The wheels of justice turn slowly…for the cops; for everyone that isn’t in the top 1%, not so much.
And they were only fired, right? Not prosecuted.
Still, this is a positive development. Now we see what it takes for a cop to be fired. Not just twelve bullets, but hundreds of bullets into an unarmed person.
Not good enough. Reading about this horrible miscarriage of justice makes me angry all over again.
How many of the fired cops will go on to become law enforcement elsewhere I wonder? No…this is letting all these fucking killer cops to get off way too easy.
As we already know about Cleveland, they’re only getting fired in order for the City to avoid major payouts…
The officers fired at a car after a high-speed chase that involved 62 police cruisers and more than 100 officers.
Man, it’s a good thing they never caught up with Jake and Elwood Blues after their high-speed chase. It would have been a very different movie.
Best we hope I guess. I understand the court’s dilemma in not being able to identify a particular killer. At least in these cases, we still follow “innocent until proven guilty”. But it was an incredibly reckless action by the officers and they should be fired.
Some of them were threatening to sue the department and city because they said they were being discriminated against in their punishment. Since they violated policies, disobeyed orders and killed two people, anything short of firing and prosecution is a gift in my book.
