No sweat. Your point was not entirely off the mark.
Actually, your saying that means I have to look into some of my understanding in other directions as well, different person in this case.
āHe added that Trumpās words ācount,ā and that he should be more aware of the power of his bully pulpit.ā
I would say this rather measured statement is appropriate for Clapper to say to the national media. But, while Trump is impulsive, he pretty much knows, or has an instinct for, what he is doing.
That does not mean he necessarily has a coherent plan with the violence that he spawns. However, violence becomes part of the system with would-be-autocrats, and they find ways to leverage it to enforce their arbitrary, dysfunctional and corrupt governmental rule. I am not sure he has enough control to generate a useful event, but Trump knows.
Donāt they usually hand stamp them then? The old fashioned way?
You always try to kill what you desire but canāt have.
I think I saw that it they were small enough to be dropped without going to the counter.
I donāt think so, not always anymore. Too inefficient.
Then we could peel off and re-use the stampsā¦
I think the money lost to stamp-reuse fraud would be miniscule compared to the cost of cancelling every stamp.
