It looks like she’s sitting between Xi and May. There are just no standards anymore, except perhaps for the “quaint” collection of left of center recalcitrants who insist on proper qualifications and temperament to hold public office. Perhaps, one day these sorry defenders of a democratic way of life will die off and a new era of glorious, sunny chaos in governance will shine forth on the land. The AP story seems very disjointed. Some reports of enormous violence, other reports that the police raided a violent organizing center and found firecrackers. Sounds like yeah, there are some violent elements, but they don’t have a lot to do with the main body of the protesters. (Oh, and technical note: in NYC, at least, asphalt gets to hot that it bubbles and pits… on any given day in the summer.)
