Most people would be at least a little grateful for the heads up, which was what the IC was trying to give him. Peepee’s too much of a rice paper skinned moron to recognize he was being done a favor. Instead of quietly dealing with the problem, or attacking the content of the message, he attacks the messenger. This is going to be a very tough four years for the people with whom he’s surrounded himself. I’m not sure any of them realize just exactly what they signed up for.
That’s not all true. They lost seats in both the House and Senate in 2012. That’s a fact. You’re welcome to look it up.
Keep reading. There is much more to the US than just the House and Senate.
You’re still wrong about 2012, which is the election my original post was referring to, and when you rudely begin a post with “What are you talking about?” and then proceed to be wrong, you don’t get to tell people what to read.
Trump is completely unable to deal with disappointment, rejection or opposition without pretending he is stronger by putting out hyper derogatory tweets. So it’s going to be four years of Trump going Godwin on anyone that stands up to him or gets in his way.
Lordy, the CIA is no innocent by any means, with a secret domestic history that has to be revealed for America to really heal, but Donald has managed to make them appealing and sympathetic…
The Orange Shitgibbon will rue the day he picked a fight with people whose JOB it is to dig up dirt on others and use it to destroy them (and they are very, very good at it.)
The “Death by a Thousand Cuts” awaits Trump IF the MSM can be persuaded to actually REPORT on it.
That is the key. It does no good to know things if nobody else does (or cares.)
Will the MSM report it?
I doubt it.
Upton Sinclair: “It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his job depends upon him not understanding it.”
We are the ‘cool’ tail that wags the media, the hipness and pop savvy they crave but just cannot emulate for various contractual and creative reasons…yes, that’s it exactly…yup…just listen to Tweety painfully try and do it.
It we make it enough so, they will report.
Oh, it is way past time to get over the shock and grief. Way past. Hope to see you Saturday!
Brown hair chick with cameras wearing riding boots. That will be me. I’ll be looking for you!
(In the Ville that is)
Yes We Can Sista, and Yes We Will!
Repugnicans----are OK with it.
Damn straight Skippy.
(Those boots are comfortable to walk in and this is horse country)
Speaking of repugnant, my son one time submitted an article to the Onion and instead of publishing it as is and giving him any credit they published it slightly rewritten. Then when he wrote a letter to complain they wrote an article about someone bitching about the Onion stealing their work.
In that light, it’s a good thing Andy didn’t try to get the Onion to publish this Onion like article. Pretty funny article if sad for what’s probably to come.
…or happens to be anywhere near whatever latest disaster he’s in the middle of.
I’d like to see this happen sooner rather than later plucky. I spend most of my TPM time in The Hive and I’ve been reading the back and forth opinions since November 9 although finding a direction to move forward does seem to be gaining a little traction.
Here’s another perspective…
… progressives have been entirely ineffective at crafting a narrative and can’t seem to agree on a core set of issues, values and supporting memes (in the form of phrases, images, words and symbols). Progressives act like what ecologist L. Hunter Lovins calls a “bucket of crabs.” Crabs, placed in a bucket, are said to fight each other, pulling back down any crab that attempts to escape. Progressives, Lovins argues, do much the same in their otherwise laudable effort to be inclusive, democratic and accepting of multiple perspectives.
