Actually, Jay Carney would kick ass in this role, but the right-wing would no doubt have a conniption. Bringing on Todd is at best a lateral move.

Sadly, Maddow is being killed, not killing in her time slot right now.

Roger Ailes’ move to Megyn Kelly and away from Sean Hannity has scored huge for FOX.

Going by TVNewser ratings last six months, Megyn has won back most all the viewers Maddow wrestled away from Hannity, and then some. Especially in the 25-54 Demo, which surprised me.

If Toady makes it to the election and this is all about the election, you will see burnout occur on live TV. Provided you can bear to watch. He barely made it through the last election.

David Gregory has been lost from the start. He has never understood his role as Host of the most-watched Sunday-morning political show in America.
No, David, the aim was not to be “even-handed” and attack each guest with a pack of soundbites of partisan propaganda, put them on the spot, and make them respond live and on the air.
It was supposed to be to help Americans put into context and understand the News of the day.

ISTM, MSNBC is killing their own ratings. They can’t even update their feeds without jerking you around. There is not much more annoying than their web channel.

Maddow would bring real discussion to MTP irregardless of her liberal bend. It would be engaging and would unveil a level of sanity to both sides of the political divide. We would get a no BS view of our politics. But it ain’t going to happen.
