Chuck disqualified himself from his profession when he defended his snotty journalism by saying, “it’s not my job to inform viewers.”
That said, I never listen to anything Chuck Todd says.

I object to having my hyperbolic, sensationalized statements used in campaign ads. It cheapens the process and that’s my job.

“I don’t take back my analysis,”

If you had any integrity you would. You claim that merely refusing to say who one voted for should disqualify a candidate, yet ignore the fact that the other candidate is literally lying about his constituents’ healthcare? Which is more important, Grimes’ ballot or 500,000 KYians losing their healthcare?

And McConnell has hidden himself from questions for months.

No, he hasn’t just hidden from reporters. He’s had reporters thrown out of press conferences and threatened with arrest. And not only that, McConnell refused to sit down with the Courier Journal to be interviewed. But, no, the REAL problem is Grimes’ refusal to reveal who she voted for 2 years ago because that somehow matters.

The “Analysis” that Upchuck Toad refuses to take back is so one-sided and flawed that to call it “analysis” requires a complete redefinition of the word.

He dogs Grimes for something silly while ignoring McConnell’s outright lies about numerous subjects.

Toad is not a journalist.
He’s a stenographer—and he’s not good at that job, either.

“I don’t take back my analysis,” Todd told the Huffington Post’s Michael Calderone in an email on Tuesday. "But no journalist likes to be used in a TV ad. It

So then what is the problem? Since he stands by what he says then he should have no problem in someone standing by and using what he says. Perhaps if he believes using his words is “cheap” then he shouldn’t express “cheap” words.
What the hell did he think would happen when he used such infammatory and hyperbolic words against Grimes? He’s in the political world; did he really not think the McConnell campaign would use it?

Fuck you, Todd.

“Hi [Chuck] Todd, I’m Tucker [Carlson]. Hi Tucker, I’m Todd.”

But no journalist likes to be used in a TV ad.

Who are you, and why are you speaking on behalf of journalists?
Cheap and likely useless fucking tool.

And he folded like a cheap suit as expected…He stands by what he says, but doesn’t want attention for saying it. Now Thats Some Impressive Bullshit. He knew how he was going to aid McConnell when he first uttered those words. He’s a disingenuous POS.

They don’t call him a TOADY for nothin’.

If he stands by his comment, he should not have an issue with it being used. If he has an issue with it being used, then he regrets making that comment.

I would ask him that question - do you regret making the comment?

Has anybody bothered to ask Chuck who he has been voting for the last few Presidential Elections?

Or is the secret ballot only for journalists?

Also, Alison Grimes meets the Constitutional requirements for a Senatorial candidate. Since Chuck decided to go down this road, can he explain why a legislative body that includes a person like David Vitter, who almost certainly violated prostitution laws, can’t include a person who simply is exercising her constitutional rights to a secret ballot?

Also, here is the ridiculousness of the question. It’s a FUCKING SECRET BALLOT! Nobody knows who she voted for, except for her. regardless of what she may say if she were to answer the question.

That is the whole point to a secret ballot moron!

By cheap he thinks that McConnell should pay him for being in the spot.

Notice how he states that he is busy querying all sorts of lawyers about filing an injunction against McConnell for using him, because he is so upset?

No, I didn’t either…

Grimes didn’t answer because she didn’t want her response to be in an ad by the McConnell campaign, thereby reducing everything she’s been saying in her campaign to a singular soundbite. That’s where Toady Todd was able to provide McConnell the commentary he so needed to pursue along that same track. Basically, Todd allowed his words to be used in her stead. Pretty obvious now that he mildly dismisses his image being used as ‘useless’. Many of us knew he was “useless” as part of the commentariat a long time ago.

Notice he isn’t fighting to have them take it down. That would be the ethical thing to do if he was worth half his salt as a real newsie…which he most clearly is not.

It’s hard to believe he worked for Tom Harkin isn’t it?
