I would have said working for trump would be a stain on his resume but Carson’s been retired since 2013. Why would he want to enter the mosh pit of Washington DC when he can continue to fleece the rubes? This makes no sense at all.

Sure it does. In the top echelons of HUD, it’s all about patronage and grift (not quite amounting to graft). Ben will be hiring a host of kids from various small towns, etc, whose mummies and daddies were contributors, in housing biz, etc. Ben just signs the paperwork.
