Discussion: Chuck Schumer: 'President Trump, Where Is Your Leadership?'

Where is his leadership? Same place his head is. (Hint: the sun don’t shine there.)

“President Trump, where is your leadership?” Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said from the Senate floor. “The contrast between President Bush’s actions after 9/11 and President’s Trump’s actions this morning could not be starker.”

Well played, Charles. Heh heh heh.

Trump’s most recent proposed budget cut millions from various domestic anti-terrorism and -extremism programs.

Cutting money from those programs means they will grow and create more jobs in the future. It's called economics. Duh.

Oh, call on me. I know the answer to that one. The one-word answer is, “Nonexistent.”

As long as Trump in his disturbed mind can blame someone he doesn’t feel any responsibility.

Democrats, where is your leadership?

Schumer is complementing President Bush whose negligence led to 9/11???

WTF?

This is why we lose. Democrats sing the praises of Republicans while Republicans destroy us.

Has the president called any victims or victims’ families?

Who is this Col. Tony Schaffer?

I think that’s the point. Stripping away the political kindness it reads “you even suck compared to Bush”.

Trump couldn’t lead a dog on a leash.

No, that is not the point. Schumer should be pointing out that Republicans are failures at preventing terrorist attacks, and that President Obama took homeland security seriously.

No Democrat should ever praise GWB - he was a disaster for our country.

But then Schumer desperately wants Trump to like him.

Donald " wrong way " Trump …if you have an intellect, concience and a sense of right and wrong you would do the opposite thing this asshole does on nearly every issue…

Good for you, Chuck. The imbecile has no shame but others may (although they’ll do their best to ignore it.) Trump’s dream that this might deflect from his other problem isn’t going to work. We’re just too inured to mass violence these days.

Does the Book of Revelations have a picture of Donnie in it? It sure seems like the end of times…

Never mind, found it…

Silly question. Trump is not a leader; he is a bully. Already the world knows that the epithet “Leader of the Free World” doesn’t belong to Trump. Trump cannot exercise “leadership” of the free world because he doesn’t know how. Leaders don’t demand loyalty, they earn it.
