Discussion for article #226055
You’re a member of their party and I’m sure you know that’s standard behaviour so deal with it.
If she doesn’t win the primary I’m sure that these remarks will be seen again in the general election. Maybe the title song from 9 to 5 for background music.
Internecine Warfare. Which flavor popcorn goes well with Schadenfreude.
Jones and Amash today: Republicans carving each other up and devouring their cannibal feast. Fun to watch!
Ducey made the comment that set Jones off during a gubernatorial candidate debate on July 27. Ducey said Jones lacked experience: “I don’t know what qualifies you for this race besides your own wallet.”
They’ve said a lot worse about Pres Obama and his “lack of experience” . Much worse.
But it’s fun to see a Republican get all faint-couchey when one of their own acts in a manner towards their gender that they don’t like. And how fast they reach for the “woman card”.
She’s doubtless right - her opponent probably is a misogynist jerk
But her credibility on the subject is suspect.
So someone who built an entire professional career at a company that specializes in raunchy advertising (featuring “Go-Daddy Girls”
engaged in sexually suggestive games designed to appeal to adolescent straight guys) throws around accusations of “misogyny” and claims to be a defender of “professional women”.
Her concerns about presenting women as professionals or combatting misogyny might be more convincing if her claim to being qualified wasn’t spending years working at a prime offender.
I’m so scared of all of them in the race: “I-was-in-the-Air-Force-but-not” Jones, Coldstone Creamery Ducey and Birther Bennett.
I don’t see a Democrat pulling this one off, particularly with ithe current immigration debate -
That means we will get one of these clowns as our governor.
(((shudder)))
OT but I wonder if that’s Jones’ mom holding that campaign sign behind her.
Fascinating response since this dumbass is a Republican candidate. Surely she is aware that the her chosen party is awash with anti-women policies.
Perhaps Arizonans will get the "jerk"part. “Misogynistic,” doubtful.
And his qualifications are?
The Dem candidate Fred Duval is a very impressive guy with good policy/governing experience and deserves a chance to be Gov. Unfortunately, too many AZ voters are content with political dopes, including but not limited to Brewer, Arapio, Bennet, etc.
Bidness! Much of it the sleazy, franchise-kind. Google him and the debacle that was STONE COLD CREAMERY.
Oh I had an idea… Just notice he didn’t mention his while ripping hers
It says right there in the Republican Party Platform: “All Male Applicants must be a Misogynistic Jerk” (in so many words.)
Just read it Ms. Jones.
Another instance of the old Quote:“When you lie down with Dogs, You get up with Fleas.”
…hit back on Tuesday against one of her primary opponents, Doug Ducey, by calling him a “misogynistic jerk.”
I’ve met Mr. Douchey and what she absolutely, said is 110% true. No question about it.
I’m not saying she’s any better, mind you, but Douggie is a complete douchebag.
She’s Jan Brewer without the wrinkles
Has this idiot ever watched GoDaddy’s commercials?
The despicable complaining about the deplorable.
She IS not qualified to be governor, and neither is he. I’ll be voting for Fred Duval
I’ve lived in Arizona [except for a 7 year hiatus in CA] since 1988 and I’ve encountered Javalinas way smarter than the average Arizona GOP politician.
