I agree with Gov. Christie…he did get more scrutiny. And after that scrutiny folks saw him for what he is and that’s why he’s polling at 5 %.

Au contraire. Christie’s roll is not to win the nomination. His role is to be the attack dog to take down others. And Carson, bleeding into the waters now, is a perfect target for him to show just what a bulldog he can be.

VP bid is a possibility. More likely something further down in the administration is what he is aiming for, though. AG for example.
Geographically, he doesn’t offer a thing to a republican ticket. Ideologically, he could match up well with a Trump or a Cruz, as he reaches a segment that they can’t. Though I think a Trump/Christie ticket would be scorned by rest of the GOP country (way too elitist New Englanderish). And my guess with Cruz is he won’t be looking to mitigate his extremist ideology on his ticket…he will want someone that breathes fire just like him.
