Discussion: Christie Breaks Rank To Criticize Trump's 'Inappropriate' Khan Attacks

There goes Attorney General.

All rational Americans understand that the Khans have a RIGHT to say what they want!
That isn’t the issue!
The issue is Trump’s response!

Five days is certainly long enough to determine how the wind is blowing.

Chrisco is still smarting from backing Drumpf without getting so much as the courtesy of a reach-around…only a small sweet left on the night stand…

And it was a proper response

The Rats are beginning to head for the rails on the listing, sinking, burning ā€œTrump of the Seasā€.
This is Christie laying the groundwork for him to ease out of the campaign and try to slip silently into the night, hoping nobody notices.
This drip-drip-drip of Republicans jumping ship will be a trickle next week and will be a FLOOD by Labor Day.
That is when Trump will declare that ā€œALL PATRIOT TRUE AMERICANS MUST BEGIN ARMED REVOLUTIONā€ and the media will laugh and say how he is ā€œso unconventionalā€.

In other words,ā€œI see the train wreck looming up ahead and I want to preserve some level credibility with what remains of the Republican party after November.ā€

And so now we have Christie joining the contortionist brigade, along with Ryan, McConnell, and McCain.

The Four Doucheketeers.

Christie’s comments were spoken like someone who is accepting the high probability that Trump will lose, and bigly.

I just hope his rug burns heal okay…

Trump: I see that The Fat Boy is mad because I didn’t offer him VP slot.

If the DSCC were on that same wavelength,

Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard too. Many, many people are wondering.

He thinks if he adds to the criticism, then Trump will be dropped , and he’ll be back in the running.

plus it isn’t that strong a condemnation of Trump’s words. He’s still trying to have it both ways . . .

Josh has posted this a couple of times in his blog but hasn’t done a news story on it.

Just So You Know
Just for the record please note that yesterday Donald Trump said the Khizr Khan was really mad at him because he’s cracking down on terrorists. Trump’s allies and advisors are claiming that Humayun Khan, Khan’s son who was killed in action in Iraq was an al-Qaida double agent.

Trump: Khan Was Mad I’ll Keep Out Terrorists

Howdy Ugg! <3

I don’t get it. Why am I suddenly thinking about Theon Greyjoy? Just popped into my head for no apparent reason.

First of all, you know he’s seen the speech at the DNC by Mr. Khan, even if he didn’t see it the night it happened. It’s been playing on a non-stop loop ever since then.

Second, this guy is in big trouble at home, and I believe he will be in court by Sept. related to Bridgegate, even if its only as a witness. They already found his missing cell phone he said he lost. Things will be personally ramping up for him in the legal sense by then.

Third, being part of a losing and even more importantly, reviled candidate, can’t help him much inside or outside party politics any longer. He’s on his own now and the writing is on the walls. In other words, tRump can’t save his bacon. He’s toast. Chrispy toast…All he needs are a couple of eggs to go with the bacon and toast (hopefully thrown at him), or he’ll end up having egg on his face anyway with this unhelpful association to tRump.

Lastly, he’s still smarting from not being picked VP…even though he should be grateful he was inadvertently spared from that kind of humiliation. I doubt he sees it that way though.

Of course they are because that’s the most despicable thing they could do. [facepalm]
