That fatass was among the first to jump in to endorse the fascist sociopath for his political survival, and how many days did it take him to make that comment since the Kahns’s appearance on the convention stage & Trump’s tweeter lashing out? Seeing which direction the window was blowing and coming out as if he were a man of dignity? To borrow Joe, “Give me a break, that’s a bunch of malarkey!”

Maybe Christie remembered that once upon a time long ago he himself defended a Muslim American from idiot scurrilous charges.
I expect this memory will pass and he’ll go back to being Trump’s obsequious errand boy within 24 hours.

“I didn’t see Mr. Khan’s speech at the DNC but I’ll just say this…". How in the world could you not have seen it. That almost has too be a lie. Everyone has seen it; multiple times. This reveals that the statement is little more than a political calculation and has nothing to do with empathy, compassion or understanding what is right.

It doesn’t change a thing in regards to who he supports, but it would be interesting if he was asked again.
