Discussion for article #245085
Christie said the clean-up of the severe flooding was done already.
So every personal residence that had water 3 feet high on the first floor has finished the job of restoring their residence to pre-flood condition? And the same for every business? WTF?
What? Do I look like I ate the donut???
I can’t wait until this verbally abusive asshole loses New Hampshire and we don’t have to hear about him anymore.
Actually I believe 4 very large counties experienced flooding, Cape May, Atlantic, Ocean, and Monmouth, with lesser flooding in Middlesex and Union. The Shovenor needs to get out more.
And, was that a high school student he was berating? What an asshole.
Picking up a mop and helping would be better than nothing.
I believe Chris Christie would be as competent, hard working, and attentive to details with a mop as he has been as a governor.
Hopefully the affected floodees in Jersey had Federal flood insurance, otherwise neither Christie nor anyone else will be able to put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
After things dried up after Sandy, they should have sold their properties and moved elsewhere. What occurred there will happen again. Period.
Jersey…Jersey… how could you possibly elect this bully incompetent asshole TWICE???
he is such a genuinely nasty piece of shit… i hope at his upcoming events there are people there to hand him mops and telling him to go home.
Kinda ironic that one of the biggest things that helped him get re-elected was his working with Pres. Obama after Sandy because it showed “bipartisanship”. Now, he can’t run away from that fast enough.
Many communities that were affected are blue collar neighborhoods–teachers, nurses, plumbers, electricians, cops. You don’t just pick up and move elsewhere. It’s your home and your only option. How insensitive can you be? If you live in NJ, you must have voted for this pig of a man.
North Jersey is just a suburb of Manhattan. That’s how.
Yes, DO get a mop Chris…the exercise will do you good.
“Do you want me to go down there with a mop?”
Some New Jersey residents waited two years for their Federal disaster relief checks after Hurricane Sandy.
And many are still waiting. The youth group from my church in Stillwater, MN, went to the Jersey coast last summer to help with the clean-up.
Governor Idiot has done nothing to expedite this process.
Now, with new indoor pools!
Expect an increase in your property tax.
Sadly, quite a few Democrats fell for that. And there are consequences.
Christie said (yesterday I think …here on TPM) that there hadn’t been any flood damage so, what’s to clean up? Besides The Gov. has bigger fish to fry. Right?
Forget the mop he would go to the shore, upset the masses and grab an ice cream cone.
