Yes, the newspaper and girlfriend are very similar. Both are flat as pancakes (in the girlfriend’s case, the unfortunate result of being on the bottom during relations with the Governor).

There is one glaring problem with this analogy, governor. You are stil governor of New Jersey, and the Star-Ledger is still an important newspaper in New Jersey. The paper is not your ex, governor, but your wife whom you are cheating on by staying out of your home state.

I’m from NJ. While the Ledger is hardly Fox Lite, “liberal” is definitely NOT a word that describes it.
