Christie: What can I say, I am a true Christian. I love refugees. Also, I did help out a fellow Muslim friend by appointing him to Superior Court in NJ. I fired a NJ transit employee when he was caught burning Quran. I am the real Christian, the only true Christian in Republican party.

Christie is selling out/has sold out and completely compromised any principles that he may have had left and all for a flailing and failing wasted effort.
He has gone down the, I was for it before I was against it, road on so many issues that he is passing himself on the way by.
No, the next big political event in Christie’s future will be the shame that he reheaps on the Governor’s office and himself.

He’s almost as egocentric as Trump, but not quite enough. Because he feels somewhat guilty when he lies, or at least gets caught lying. Trump has none of those shortcomings, so to speak.
The most terrible thing about Christie isn’t his gross fatness, which is a burden he’d carry regardless of what sort of person he was. Nor is his enormity that he attacks, bullshits, and lies with near-Trumpian regularity.
It;s that he’s now in almost precisely the same category as Scott Walker as the worst of all possible lame duck governors, like the most recent ex-governor of Pennslyvania. Denied any future hope of looting this wreckage of a skewed remnant of national representative democracy under law, he’ll soon be left to concentrate entirely on further victimizing the residents of his state.

He sent a latter. So he didn’t, although he said he would, do any tough guy stuff. Just sent a letter. I think if anyone looked into any of Cristie’s alleged tough guy stuff they’d find he’s never done anything tougher than a letter. Or bravado when surrounded by body guards.
