Discussion: Chris Wallace To Reince Priebus: 'You Don't Get To Tell' The Press What To Do

Trump is one of the most verbally vicious and litigious animals on the planet while Priebus and other Trump enablers continuously pretend that Trump is a perpetually picked-upon victim.

Trump and his enablers can pitch but they can’t catch.

Only bill debates show up on the official debate schedule. This isn’t a bill, yet.

On CNN just now - Senate Intelligence Committee just sent out letters demanding that all agencies retain all documentation of the Russian investigation.

Would you like some cheese with your whine, Reince?

It is looking really, really bad for Team Trump. And here Donnie is just kicking off his 2020 campaign. Hey Reince, maybe you ought to think about jumping ship. The heat from the press is about to intensify 10-fold.

Poor Reince. Somebody needs to tell him - when you’ve lost Fox, you’ve lost the Fake News Media SAD!

You don’t get to tell us what to do, Reince!

Isn’t it rich coming from the network that voluntarily does “what to do”…

Well it’s hard to not snark, but I’d give Wallace (even though he’s already on a saner side there) credit for saying this.

You don’t get to tell us what to do any more than Barack Obama did," Wallace said. “I’ve got to say he never said that we were an enemy of the people.”

“No, he took the shots, and we didn’t like them, and frankly we don’t like this either,” Wallace said. “But he never went as far as President Trump has, and that’s what’s concerning, because it seems like he crosses a line when he talks about — that we’re an enemy of the people. That is concerning.”

Oh ho!

But back on topic, it’s kind of remarkable like OH MY GOD THE END TIMES ARE UPON US remarkable when Fox is telling the Trump minions the big guy is fundamentally out of bounds and defending Barack Obama in the process. Never thought I’d see the day.

Reince: Why yes, yes I would. As long as it’s one of these:

Can’t call the ambassador because we probably don’t yet have one. Anyone at State there to pick up the phone?

the entire GOP/RNC believes the press is the enemy of the country and should be treated accordingly.

This is nothing new…bashing the media as the corrupt agent of the depraved liberal elites has been SOP for the Republican Party since at least 1968. They’ve never stopped doing it, even when they’ve had a propaganda media network of their own.

And considering how neutered the mainstream press has been over the last three decades, the GOP practice of working the refs has been fabulously successful. The GOP has been the squeaky wheel, and it’s gotten the media grease.

With Wallace finally challenging Rinse I’m very heartened because so far it looked like Talking Priebus Memos here today.

I think it’s very good myself, and again, good for Wallace.

Sure would have been nice if the media, Fox especially, had woken up and shown some guts during the election last year. Maybe we wouldn’t be in this mess.
