When all you have is “God, Guns, and Gays” as campaign issues and “Bumper-Sticker” solutions. You HAVE to suppress the opposition vote as much as possible to increase the impact of the 23% of the electorate that are your base voters.
Without that, you are doomed to lose and the Tea-Baggers know it.

a voter has no obligation to prove anything to these clowns, they aren’t poll officials. and the poll officials have no legal obligation to them either, they purportedly are, after all, simply observers.
if they have a question, regarding a voter’s right to vote, write it down, in triplicate, retain a copy for their files, and put the other two in the trash.
