Nah, he’s just crabby because he can’t manage to get people to leave him alone on the bad things he’s done and they aren’t focusing on the things that he’s done which are nice. Basically, he’s grumpy and upset over everything.

It’s not all bad that she quit her job. When he is indicted, she can help coordinate the efforts to keep him out of prison. And after he’s incarcerated she can help keep the family together on the outside.
