Discussion: Chris Christie Says White House Contact With FBI Was Result Of 'Learning Curve'

That Christie, he knows curves…and bulges.
Chunk Toad was back to average but I was dying to ask a suddenly Russian-related, procedure-concerned Tom Cotton why he then sent that open letter to Iran?

“Gee, officer, I didn’t know that the 16 pounds of weed in my trunk was illegal.”

“Oh, that’s okay, we understand, son, it’s a learning curve. Now drive safe!”

Trump is a brilliant guy who gets things done pronto and will bring his huge expertise to the job, but you have to remember that he doesn’t know anything, really, and has to get up to speed and really shouldn’t be held up to the standards of actual presidents.

MTP then had a free-wheeling roundtable spooling out reasons Trump’s Russia contact could be totally innocent and explainable?!?!?
Like Trump’s Cliff-Note staff wouldn’t have grabbbed any positive straw already…

Christie, two months from now: “Our nuclear war with China was the result of a learning curve.”

“Remember, these are all people who have never been in government before,” Christie said. “And so they’re going to need to learn these things.”

Oh, that’s so fucking reassuring, Chris. This is what many smart people were trying to get across BEFORE the election.

"Dropping the nuclear weapons on Guatemala instead of Iran was the result of a learning curve. We used Mike Pence’s targeting algorithm. At least we saved Israel.

Funny thing…just scanning around…some of our Congressional GOP favs are no longer accepting emails from outside their Districts, LOL. No phone, no mail…was it something they did?

White House press secretary Sean Spicer argued on Friday that Priebus had no choice but to push the FBI to publicly dispute the reports.
“I don’t know what else we were supposed to do,” he said.

Right you don’t know what you’re supposed to do. That is the problem, dummy.

Huh. Oddly enough, they seemed to be very aware of such improprieties* when they were freaking HOWLING about Bill Clinton** chatting w/ Loretta Lynch on an airplane.

*I do believe that Clinton was incorrect to do this. But, that was way less serious than this case.

**Fucking Bill, man.

No, incompetence doesn’t have a learning curve. It’s just incompetence.

With legal repercussions.

I’ve had lots of new jobs, and you always get people running up and asking you for stuff you have no idea about, and it’s stressful and so forth. But I’ve managed never to commit any felonies in the process. Actually most of us manage not to do that.
[/quote]Most of us also don’t have FBI and Congressional investigations into how we and our team got the job in the first place, nor do we spend the first month lying about pretty much everything and acting like adolescent jerks. And those of us who do generally end up not having that job for very long.

Aw, poor Sarah Huckabee Sanders was just pitiful on ABC.
Scared shitless and in full Babs Bush regalia (No bangs, damn, and the shot didn’t allow a view of possible knee socks) she bravely stuck to the absurd talking points that arced across the nets flavored with the hate and lies we’ve come to expect from all things Trump.
