Discussion: Chris Christie No Longer Friends With 'Morning Joe'

Discussion for article #230412

Exactly. ā€œIt’s a question of temperament with him.ā€ The guy gets completely unglued and unhinged, then lashes out at anyone who faces him up or calls him out. Real ā€œpresidentialā€ stuff, that.

You talking about Christie or Scarborough?

LOL. Governor Soprano’s ring wasn’t kissed last time he met with them so he has a sad.

Damn! That was absolutely my first thought. A ā€œquestion of temperamentā€, unhinged, and unglued all perfectly describe Chris Christie AND Joe Scarborough.

Actually, I think there’s a decent chance he could eke out a tiny popular election win if he manages to get the nomination. If he got the Republican nomination, the MSM would fall into the same destructive mean girl dynamic that we saw in 2000 and the 5% who pay no goddamned attention until a month before the election yet insist on voting anyway might well buy the bullshit. And all he has to do to win the nomination is lurch hard right during the primaries. The base will eat it up and the MSM will smirk knowingly at how he’s putting one over on those rubes when he’s really a Sensible Moderate Republican and then conveniently forget everything he said and did ten seconds after he clinches the nomination.

The fact that he’s shown time and again that he’s the kind of guy who thinks that the way to settle a personal or political beef is to use his power to injure the friends or constituents of the target of his ire–even when they are also his own constituents–will be buried under a pile of puff pieces and armpit farting.

If the Democrats were an organized political party, i would love to see a Christie nomination. There is more footage of his bully/asshole tactics to fill a years worth of non-stop coverage. He wouldn’t hit double digits in the electoral college once the blood bath ended.

Alas, like Will Rogers, I don’t belong to an organized political party. I’m a Democrat. And Christie will mop the floor with Sec Clinton’s hair.

" ā€œWe saw him at the Vanity Fair-Bloomberg party last spring, and he stormed right past us."

Do we care who Christie and Joe are seeing after hours?

This is old news. A dentist’s blog reported Scarblow had his teeth cleaned three times in one week.

Just two pompous a-holes that were using each other as long as they could. Users don’t have friends, they have targets. Christie was just a much bigger target and literally still is.

Bridgegate isn’t ever going away and even fanboy Morning Ho figured it out.

Well I don’t care much for the coffee club gang but the temperament issue is real.

If Christie Runs, in the general someone will coin the phrase ā€˜Governor Christie you do NOT tell the American people to sit down and shut up!’… it ā€˜will’ happen.

Oh you poor whiny, ego maniac, fat boy; MSNBC will not grovel at your feet like Fox and every other right wing member of the echo chamber, so called media. Republicans really have gone full fascist, and instead of the government being the one’s trying to control all of media, to sell their propaganda as truth, it is the CON party doing it. You fascists can try as you might, but there is a good portion of us that you can delude with your Hitler like tactics of propaganda. Maybe this is why they want to get rid of net neutrality, when I thought it was all about the $$$$$.

FYI:

Not to mention the state’s multiple credit downgrades under his stewardship, his public record as a demonstrable liar, and other substantive stuff our political ā€œjournalistsā€ just find a big yawn. And let’s face it – for the GOP base, his tendency to rip people’s faces off is his strongest selling point.
