Getting in that one last Fuck You to the party, gov? I like it. He probably knows Trump won’t win, but a losing Trump nomination (and no indictment) might leave Christie well positioned to seek the nod again in 2020. On the flip side, if Trump somehow wins Christie would be guaranteed a cabinet position. Just don’t tell him there aren’t any Twinkies in that cabinet, although he’ll find plenty of Ding Dongs.
