Is this an indication that he has given up his presidential campaign, and is instead now campaigning to be NYC mayor? Because I am pretty sure that President’s don’t set police policy at the city level.

Sure, let’s do it and let’s make sure that only white people with nice clothes and accessories get stopped and frisked. Only them and no one else. Let’s see how long that lasts…

I’ve resided in NYC most of my life. The city has never been safer. Yes sure there are issues, homelessness, cost of living, the pros and cons of gentrification etc. It’s actually Christie who has made New Yorkers and residents of the region lives more difficult. He canceled the ARC tunnel which would have alleviated congestion as well as provided a jolt for the economy. He refuses to endorse a Port Authority reform package and let the states transportation trust fund dry up. Not much on trying to consolidate and share services amongst NJ’s 600 plus municipalities. No wonder why he flees the state to try to rescue his fleeting presidential campaign.
